as previouslyy mentioned, i booked on that 222 offer aswell and found last week they had reduced the weekday rates so i cancelled/rebooked. they have now made a reduction on the weekend rates making it another $30 cheaper so ive cancelled/rebooked once again!

Just checked again and my rates are still the same. :(

Thats funny as the Vegas flight is a 3 class service not a 4 class, but guess they just reconfigured to get more Club class in.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
  • Ive been seeing all these special offers for the mgm and was wondering in relation to flamingos which is the better hotel. I really want to go for location more then anything. Having never been to vegas before, want to stay right in the middle, which i know the flamingo is, but there is only about $50 dollars in the diffence between the two hotels.
Also if i booked now for september, is it easy to cancel if a better rate comes along.
    thanks

Yes he has been at the Palms for some time now, quite good by all accounts. (Did I just say the guy out of Bros was good, hand me another Rum Runner barman)

Lol - thank you Stoneman. I am so excited about this! It will be my first trip to LV and this will top it off (v sad 40yr old to be who still sings to Bros on her ipod).

While I am here I would like to say a big thank you to all who post on here - your many tips and recommendations are going to make my first visit to vegas go really smoothly. I have chosen the Palazzo as my dream hotel and now am waiting impatiently for a deal for November on their website.
    Thank you all who post.

Flamingo gets it for location hands down, if you want to be right in the middle you will need to get transport from MGM, but the MGM rooms and casino itself are a class above. With all of the deals be careful about the cancellation policies, a new and worrying trend is to make some of them non-concealable, pay in full up front or no refund of the deposit, so just make sure you read the T&C's (like all money-savers should) and not just accept that you can cancel within 24-48 hours.
