I would be absolutely livid if a waiter handed me a card like that.I really think I would leave there and then if handed to me halfway through a meal

Me too - and I would have done exactly what stoneman did. I accept that there are stereotypes around tipping and that many of them are not too far off the mark as a general rule, but that's just rude and uncalled for...

2 bed Suite at the Signature is $2143 on Booking.com (i've never had any problems with Booking.com and the Signature is FAB :D ) .. A 1 bed juniour suite is $893, perhaps get 2 single rooms?

Have you looked at Signature? They have 2-bedroom suites...I think some of the casino/hotels have them but they rarely (never?) come up on the standard booking pages...not sure if that's because they're generally reserved for high rollers or not...it may be you have to call for availability and rates.

I think one thing you may not be considering is in most hotels - a one bedroom suite is going to be quite a bit more than a standard room...so a 2-bedroom suite is going to be even more expensive than that...the square footage of the room is likely to be that much bigger in a 2-bedroom than a one-bedroom and prices will reflect that...looking at the room descriptions at Signature the 2-bedroom suites are 1500 square feet vs 950 square feet for the 1-bedroom.

You could look into booking through an owner a Signature (never done it myself, no personal recommendation from me, just a thought).

Heres a thought......how about two adjacent Junior Suites at the Signature. They have the inner/outer door thing......ie when you have both rooms, use the outer door. And with offers like the recent $79/$99 or the stay 7 nights get the last day free or get $300 in food credit, it would be a bargain.

Can they guarantee they will be adjacent? Anytime we've made a request of connecting rooms (at other hotels) it's been a request, not guaranteed. I agree that if it would work it could be a great option.

In the GLC, they give it with the bill. Very rude and as I said, my pet hate in Vegas.

I dont think they 100% guarantee it, but what else are the outer door things there for?

They gave us 100% our room request on the standard online booking form ie tower 1, high floor (28 was the highest of the non-penthouse floors....what are they like anyone?) and strip view......well you could see Monty, Aria etc....closest to a strip view they had.

I guess if you call them, they would sort you out.

Is there a reason you want a 2 bedroom suite rather than 2 rooms?

I personally wouldn't go for a 2 bedroomed. Apart from being much more expensive than 2 separate rooms, 2 rooms will give each couple much more amenities such as a bathroom each, TV each, etc and more room.

And a bit more privacy too...we would also go for 2 rooms (and probably not connecting)...sometimes when travelling with a group it's nice to have your own space and be able to do your own thing a bit even if most of the time you're all together...when we took my in-laws we got rooms across the hall from each other - that was nice as we didn't feel like we would disturb them coming and going after they had retired for the night, etc.

it is soo good to get some feedback. from what a lot of you have said 2 separate rooms seems a much better idea! just fancied a suite for some reason & i suppose there is no reason why we cant get a smaller suite per couple!

thanks for the advice & opinions
