Has anyone managed to get flights out to vegas from london but then fly back from LA? Have tried a few websites but only let you do the return on the same airport.

again , did this the other way round with Virgin . did mean leaving from Heathrow and arriving back at Gatwick though . price was the same as return from either .
hi everyone , im booked to go in oct with the missus we have never been , were staying at planet hollywood , we are reading good and bad things about it , has anyone had experience of it. also can someone tell us if you have use of other hotels pools and casinos if we arent staying there

    thanks paul

stop worrying , you will love Planet Hollywood .

bet you have been reading Trip Advisor . you have take some of the bad reviews with a big pinch of salt . All the Casinos get a bad review somewhere , i think some are just people who have lost the shirt of their back playing Blackjack ect.

make sure you visit the Spice Market Buffet :A

We did this with Virgin last year. Extra £30pp for open-jaw ticket and, as trets77 rightly said, Virgin fly out of Gatwick to LV and back to Heathrow from LA.

As others have said, stop worrying it as great hotel.

The pool question was answered, generally no..why would you want to though? they are a long way apart and no way to change etc.

Casinos..use them all, no fees no joining altho good idea to join the players club in each (no fee) just photo ID

You can go into any casino, but you can't use other hotels' pools apart from Flamingo after 1pm as ferf has said, but it's free. It's a very nice pool though and worth a look.

If staying at the PH don't forget the coupons for $5 off the Spice Market buffet at

You sure did thanks, I had booked the rooms before you posted the code and then didnt even think much about it when you did (although I did thank you so I must have been having a funny moment haha) then came about the code again in my emails by chance the other day doh!!!! Am such a numpty I didnt even realise it was the same one as you had posted I will edit my post so its not on there. :)

Ah, wasn't sure I'd posted it on here and thought I'd maybe forgotten when I posted it elsewhere.

Sounds like you did the same thing I did. Saw a new promo, but didn't check it out as you were happy with the one you had booked.

I did the same thing with MGM. Saw the promo ages ago, but didn't check until yesterday as I was happy with the one I'd booked. However when I did check I'm actually $84 better off with the new one.

Must remember to click through ALL promos to check the total and not just glance at them.

Thanks for your replies regarding the Imperial Palace, I feel so much easier about staying there now, In fact, judging by those photos in the link that someone kindly posted, it looks positively luxurious compared to some of the hotels we've stayed at in Turkey.:rotfl:

You'll be fine at the IP, but I would do what was suggested and definitely stay there at the beginning rather than the end. It's always preferable to move to a better hotel.

We are actually staying at the Encore the first 2 nights then moving "down" to Bally's and the MGM, but we've stayed at them all before and know exactly what to expect so it's not so important for us.

Doh! I hadn't even seen 'casinos' in that 'casinos and pools'.

Yes it was that offer. All I can think is that I thought if the rates were the same then it wasn't such a good offer for me as I was getting free daily internet with my offer.

However the rates for my dates were considerably lower, a difference of $67, which covered the cost of the internet then on top of that I could use the 2 dinner buffets and 2 free cocktails which was another $84 saving.

I need to remember to never assume anything.
