Hi Good People. Can I just ask some of about the amount of time you have to allow between change over flights in the US. we're looking at manchester to vegas via Philadelphia. the flight i was looking at has just 1hour 50 outbound and 1 hour 20 inbound,

also does anybody know if the tcx thomas cook flights still do the direct charter later in the year

We've done flights with these change times with no problem. Our last trip was a bit close to the mark because I have a prosthetic hip and ALWAYS set off the alarms.

There were no female TSA agents available to pat me down; I said I would be happy with any pat down to get my flight, but they found a female in the nick of time.

They did tell me that they would have placed us on the next flight out of PHL if we'd missed that one.

Has anyone managed to get flights out to vegas from london but then fly back from LA? Have tried a few websites but only let you do the return on the same airport.

the missus came back with just 7 new pairs of shoes from our trip last year and to this day i dont think she has yet worn 3 pairs of them

It's the opposite with me and Tony. He is the one with the shoe fetish. Only 5 pairs last trip, 7 pairs the trip before. I'd love to do the shoe thing, but my poor arthritic feet won't let me.

We did the opposite - fly into LA and home from Vegas...most sites will let you do it - but you have to choose a multi-city trip - not a return.

also can someone tell us if you have use of other hotels pools and casinos if we arent staying there

Generally no...you can use Flamingo's pool after a certain time (1pm or 2pm) for a fee. Some have said they have been able to get into other hotel pools either by getting an old room key from ebay or just walking in...we've never tried to do either.

For me it's my poor, big feet that won't let me. Also, general lack of balance...me in 4" heels would be an insurance claim waiting to happen. :)

Tracy has size 2 1/2 and if you can imagine the small amont of surface of sole actually touching the floor it's no wonder she spends every night clutching to my arm:rotfl:
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Thanks for your replies regarding the Imperial Palace, I feel so much easier about staying there now, In fact, judging by those photos in the link that someone kindly posted, it looks positively luxurious compared to some of the hotels we've stayed at in Turkey.:rotfl:
