I believe as an Encore guest you can use the Wynn's pools etc, alongside Encore's pools, so that's also an added bonus! It really is beautiful, and the ambience is just as fabulous! Obviously you still get the in room video of Steve Wynn and his brilliant teeth talking about all the beautiful people and how exclusive the resort is so you wont be missing out on anything!
The fact that it was a little further down the strip didn't bother me one bit, it was worth it!
Thanks shopaholic!
Could you recommend any restaurants that wont break the bank at the Encore?
NB - For anyone considering staying at the Wynn - during my research I have seen that most of the restaurants are doing "fixed price" menus for set menus at set times SO - you get to eat at Daniel Boulud et all for a set price. Its worth looking into if you want to try the posh restaurants without worrying about the bill! I got the info from the Wynn's website, under restaurants.

Steff;)
Unfortunately I am unable to comment on the food in Encore, I did notice a cafe that served breakfast located just off the side of the casino, but I never actually ate there. There may be somewhere reasonable to eat, but I just assumed it was all as expensive as it looked! I'm back to Vegas in August so I will have to look around and see if there are any reasonable restaurants! :cheesy:0 -
January , FebruaryWe're going to Vegas in a few weeks and my super organised friend is wanting to book up things for us to do before we go.
A couple of them are going to the Grand Canyon, but MrGeeves1980 and myself dfid that last time we went. Something we are doing together is going to see a Cirque de Soleil show.
She wants to book the tickets now and has said she's been quoted £100 each ticket.
We saw Zumanity at New York New York before and bought our tickets during the day on the night we wanted to go. It was a couple of years ago but I don't remember them being that expensive and am sure it's cheaper to get them out there, rather than pre book.
She tends not to like it when people get involved and disagree with her so want to make sure this is the case before I challenge her. If the difference in price is negliable, I'll just let her go ahead and do what she's wants.0 -
SeptemberAre you sure that is right, I have seen connections of 50 minutes, I cant believe the airline is confident of doing that. I am like Ferf and worry about missed connections so would want about 3 hours. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

January , FebruaryRe shoes for Vegas. Tracy says 4" heels every time. (well that's me really saying that but I am sure she would agree with me). A woman should never be seen in public unless she is in heels, even the pool.:D
This is my feeling generally! Ah well, I guess i'll just end up with a heavy case. If i don't have the shoes i want, i guess it's always an excuse to buy more!0 -
We had 2 flights last year with Delta that had 50 minute windows via Atlanta, and made them both as the plane that landed was in the same terminal and only a couple of gates way from the one that we were laving on. Granted that this was on the return so no immigration to clear. I am happy with 1 1/2 hour connection times. Never had a problem.0
