Just had a look at that deal and it is giving you an online discount of over £600, Wish I could go then from Manchester. Only 15kg of luggage each though and an extra £35 a head just to add another 5kg.

That's a great deal, but 15/20kg of luggage? I had to pay for heavy baggage on the way back and mine was 35kg
Be careful: I found it far too easy to go over weight!!

It was for the 30th march. I just searched for a holiday to Vegas from manchester and then filtered results to show cheapest first and that was the £400 one

I dont think anyone has said they hate the Trump.

It is pefectly positioned for the Fashion show mall but not for anywhere else

Have to admit I did wonder about some of the comments about it being a dodgy area, I didnt think it was.

I still stand by my original post about a first time Vegas visitor staying more central strip in a "vegas" style hotel, but each to their own

Fair point. The "haters" comment wasn't directed at you personally, just can't understand all the negative reviews....it gets slated on tripadvisor regularly, mainly for the lack of casino I think. That for me is a bonus though.

I would probably agree that for a first time trip, staying at one of the big casinos is probably the thing to do. If you've been before though, definitely consider it.

And for the OP, don't worry, you'll have a great time!

Just be careful of the excess baggage charges. They are a bit hot on that if you go over and it's a high amount per kilo. They were quite strict with the hand luggage allowances last time we went with them too. Had people taking items out of the bags and dumping them. (It was 2007, we've found better with other carriers since)

I think Technolight posts on here, he got stung for a horrible amount of excess charges when he went. Ferf, you may remember that from OV.

Sorry for not searching back but the question about parking at the Premium outlets. Its very easy, and no matter how busy it is I've never had a problem finding a space. I think there might be another multi storey car park at the top end of the outlet too but I'm not sure how to get into it.

If you have a car definately drive and don't get the bus, it will take 10 minutes at the most to get there and its much easier to put all your shopping in a car than take it on a bus!

And for anyone scared of driving in Vegas, don't be! Its so easy, much less stressful than a big city in the UK. All the roads are huge and all junctions etc have traffic lights so no difficult right turns (or left in the US), no big scary roundabouts, no tiny roads to squeeze past buses when they suddenly stop at a bus stop on a bend etc!

Two weeks to go for me!! Got a couple of questions if one of the helpful people on here could answer

    1. I'm starting my holiday at Luxor, where is the best place to pop out to first night and pick up water etc for the room?

    2. Someone posted some vouchers for Freemont street a while back, but the only link I can find is dead anyone point me in the right direction?

    3. I'm planning on popping the question to my girlfriend and wondering if anyone can suggest a good place for us to go shopping for a ring?

Thanks all for all the excellent information
