I've just checked your dates on US Airways site and it is showing £465 per person, with one change at Philadelphia. If you could fly on Thursday instead of Friday, the price drops to £366

Thanks - I actually rechecked US Airways after I posted earlier and found that - it's just a straightforward Manchester to Las Vegas return, correct? It may be a better alternative than American depending on how cheap I can find the internal flights from Las Vegas to Reno. Southwest are $75 so about £50 which when you add it to the £465 works out basically the same.

I REALLY wish we could fly on the Thursday as I've noticed about £100 difference on at least a couple of airlines - I actually have the day off but my fiancee's boss is being a complete pain about holidays and won't let him take the Thursday off as we're then going to be away for 3 weeks

Outbound: Wed 25th Aug. Inbound: Tues 31st Aug.

What I did was, I opened EVERY flightchecker website (see MSE's Flight Page) and entered my flights dates in every site. And then simply flicked through the results.

Going to go and try that now as best I can - it's a bit of a pain on a lot of sites trying to do a multi city flight but if it saves us a few ££ it'll be worth it.

vikki - remember cashback websites - quidco offer 1% cashback on flights when booked through expedia or lastminute.com - it will nearly cancel out the credit card fee (if your using one to pay for your flights)

Bit of a weird one here but - does anyone know of any places to eat on/around the strip that specialise in gluten free food? Or atleast have any gluten free options on their menu?

hi - as most of you prob know i am preparing to book my flights through expedia but how do i find out if baggage is included in the BA flight & the BMI flight (from dub to heathrow)? i want to book online as i can go through quidco and also collect nectar points.

also is it possible to get a suite that has 2 separate bedrooms? i wont be booking until later in the year but just having a wee nosey at the mo. our accomoddation is for 2 couples so either 2 double/king rooms or a suite that has room for us all!

    thanks

call them up , get the info then book via Quidco .sometimes it pays to speak to a person .

The info should be there somewhere , but your allowance should be the same for all the flights as you will be travelling under a single ticket ( all be it with several flights with different carriers) .
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

Well I tried pretty much all the screen scrapers etc recommended on this site and wasted an hour of my life to save a grand total of...£2 each!! To be fair I would also get cashback as it's via Expedia (thanks credit crunch - I had forgotten that) &/or nectar points with that option, and I've reduced the return flight to just one change in Newark, but we'd be arriving in Reno a couple of hours later and also leaving Las Vegas a couple of hours earlier so it's all swings and roundabouts really. It will probably come down to whether we'd rather fly with American or Continental/United - I've never done either, any thoughts?

I think we're going to have to just stump up the £510 each to get these booked or convice the nasty boss to let my other half have the Thursday off - maybe we could bribe him if we'd be saving £200 :rotfl:!

Hi everyone need some help/advice from the experts...

Booked Signature for 10 nights in Sept about 2 weeks ago to make sure I had what I wanted with the hope a better rate would come up, today I have found a promo code which reduces the price by nearly $400 a room (we have 2 rooms booked) so called Sig and spoke to a lady who said she had changed the reservation happy days. Then the new confirmation comes through and it said first night $129 + tax which is what evey night should be so called again to ask if we could have confirmation that the whole 10 nights had been changed and they said they have on there system the whole 10 nights at $129 a night on both rooms... They said thats all the confirmation they could send? Will I be ok taking there word for it? I was hoping to get something that said the promo name on it or the total rate is this just me being daft is this not how it works? I have printed the rates out etc from the website so I have them but am just a bit concerned.:)

I have just come across this site http://www.bookingadvisor.com/ it searchs all hotel booking sites. I have just put some vegas dates in for august and got some prices cheaper than direct with the hotels even with a promotion rate.

I have never booked via a 3rd party as i like to book direct, but maybe worth a look
