anyone know about international will call at MGM or can you just collect your tickets from the box office

What Ferf said-I have done it at MGM a couple of times-No problems at all-just make sure you have ID and the card you used to buy the tickets with you.

    Yes and Yes.

A division higher than the likes of MGM, NYNY, Mirage, Mandalay Bay, PH.

In similar league to Bellagio, Wynn, Caesars.

The worst room at Venetian or Palazzo (which is a split level suite with two 32in LCDs) is ten times better than the worst room at Caesars.

You're obsessed with the Classic rooms at Caesars (It must have deeply scarred you_ :rotfl:......and you're not comparing like for like pricewise. Agreed-never book one-or be prepared to upgrade at check in

A fairer (and more interesting)comparison would be between Forum and upwards Tower rooms and Belagio and Wynn rooms.

I know the above is an old post, but as I have posted before that everytime I stay ay MGM there are problems, well it happened again this year.

I booked on the above offer (didnt take a screenshot), on my reservation print out it did not mention 2 x tube rentals free. On check in he said there was nothing to say I had these included so charge to room and get them taken off on check out.

I charged to room $32 and then had to queue on check out (I normally do it via the tv) and then argue with them for 10 minutes to get it removed as they insisted I shouldnt have them for free.

Not a major issue I know but it is still the only hotel where there is always an issue

A heads up to others if staying at MGM make sure you have a screen shot or info on your pacakage offers before check in

Another plus for the Orleans on my 2 comped nights they didnt even charge the $5 a night resort fee and they gave me $10 food credit.

I have checked on the b connected site and they have already offered me another 2 comp nights with $10 credit to be taken anytime till april next year

IMO if you want to stay off strip def worth staying there and make sure you sign up

    anyone stayed here, any good?

Have stayed at Pallazzo and yes room was great. I have come to the conclusion that I prefer to stay in mid range properties though as I cant afford the limits on the tables in the high end properties

duchy says you are obsessed and must be deeply scarred by your experience of caesars standard rooms. I empathise and sympathise!!! I too am obsessed and deeply scarred by an experience at a hotel in Galveston when I was confronted whilst sitting on the loo by a Cockroach the size of a mouse approaching me:eek: When I called my OH for help he looked in and said "I'd better keep this door shut so it can't get into the bedroom" and promptly left me to cope. My hero. To add insult to injury the only place I used my debit card was that same hotel as a security deposit and after being home for a few weeks my account was hit by thieves. So YOU ENJOY your obsession regarding caesars, as I do mine regarding Galveston!!!!!

Agree that Wynn is better but on a normal night the Wynn is about $12 a head extra with no free drinks.
Sorry yes you are correct, The price of the seafood buffet was $20 not $30 as I previously thought. The regular price I think was $17 which does not compare at all to the Wynn. Just wouldn't travel all the way out there to do it again.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    plus the pool is amazing

have a look round sometimes you find if you search you can get palazzo rooms for same deal which are better still

You can usually collect tickets for a show at any MGM property from any MGM hotel so you could nip over to the Bellagio rather than traipsing down to the MG Grand.

yeah i do see what you mean but you could always get an apartment room that has a sperate bedroom to living area and spend the days doing lots of interesting vegas things - magic shows, secret garden, aquarium etc as a 1 year old would find these interesting and then spend the evening as a couple chilling out and having drinks etc. but then possibly you could do that anywhere in the world!! im not sure.
this trip we didnt take her as wanted to be out celebrating wedding and having some relaxing couple time but i did feel she was a little too young for vegas too. plus the long flight and cnnections etc i would have had a cranky baby on my hands!
i guess its up to the individual. tough decision.

yep the other thing im looking at is doing florida maybe spring time hiring a villa there and just chillling for 2 weeks
my grand plan for vegas involved taking little one and all grand parents and aunts,, however due to not picking the correct lottery numbers last night that is on hold
