hahaha - you know what? before we went we said this would be the last time (daughter is 15 months old so all remaining holidays will be family holidays blar blar blar) but we're already thinking of going back again! lol! we have a holiday booked to cyprus next year so looks like wont be able to afford it till 2012 boohooo! so much for last trip. getting married there means you can always find an anniversary excuse to go tho :)

kate did you take your 15month old with you, i really want to go back but have been put off by the thought of having my little one with me
  • thanks everyone....still on cloud nine from it all....finding it a bit hard to settle back into normal rainy old life lol!
stripburger was good and if we went to vegas again i would go again. it was very fresh and the only burger ive ever left the pickles in as they were tasty but i think i was expecting something amazing mainly because the restaurant.com vouchers are like gold dust. i was also tempted to go into kgb burger with the 2 for 1 voucher but didnt have time (or space in my belly on any given day lol) has anyone had both to compare them? would be interesting!

no didnt take the baby im afraid, missed her terribly :(
but on the flip side there were loads of babies this trip - i was genuinely suprised there seemd to be hundreds of them so i think thats why i missed her as it felt like everyone else had brought their baby with them.
to be honest im in two minds about whether i would take her or not - as she is so little i think its just too hot (at this time of year) for my liking as i think it peaked at like 107 and i would have just been very concerned and consumed with her temperature and exposure to the sun. would have ruined any chilled holiday vibe

on the other hand if she were a little older (like photome's 4 year old son was) then i think i would consider it in a slightly cooler month as there was lots for kids to see and do which suprised me as i had always considered it to be a really adult place. i think because ive had a baby now i notice more of the child friendly places, changing rooms etc etc so it opened my eyes

how old is your child/children? i think thre are a few others on here who take their children too. maybe you would consider staying in one of the apartment style accomodations with fridge/freezer, washing machine, etc to make it more child friendly for you.

...you have no idea how very much this information means to me...

...or how much I am now craving this shake and may very well die of longing in the next 5 weeks.

Chocolate peanut butter shakes may be my biggest weakness ever...and I do not think I have had one in at least 9 years (since I moved here and no longer had easy access to the local UDF shop www.udfinc.com ). :)

:D I had a feeling that would appeal to you, Let us know what it is like and I "might" have to go back to Vegas just to try one:D

We did our usual round of buffets this time, some good, some not so good.

One new one we tried which was very good was the M resort
See how people differ. We were really looking forward to the M buffet but found it wanting in so many ways. OK you get drinks thrown in, but I get that out on the casino floor. The choices were rather limited, and for the price ($30 seafood night) it is only a few dollars less than Wynn, which is far better
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Not sure if this would interest many, but Lance Burton's show at Monte Carlo has now closed and from 7th October street dance group Jabbawockeez will appear in that theatre.

I love street dance, so we're kind of considering it...but given that the day we've looked at we could get seats in the front row, I wouldn't have thought there is a massive rush to get something booked! :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

my little one 5 months and am thinking of going next april when he will be nearer 1, thing is i think if i take him i dont think we wil like it as will be tied down to bed times and stuck in hotel rooms by 8 every night, will need an army of baby sitters if we do, certainly wont be as good as the last few times ive been

yes it was paris we stayed at for the whole stay - sorry i didnt put that in - cant even blame jet lag anymore duh!!! maybe i'll just blame baby brain - thats an everlasting condition of mine!!

it was paris room 2098 but not 'p' as that was taken :(
but still a great view in my opinion and room was pretty standard to be honest, 2 beds, wardrobe, tv (i dont do tv on holidays so couldnt tell you about those services) bathroom was good - big shower, small bath though. it was perfect for what we wanted as didnt spend long in the room but anytime we did spend was always watching the fountains so suited us! if you desperately wanted bigger i'd push for 2098p - should be same view just larger!
