my little one 5 months and am thinking of going next april when he will be nearer 1, thing is i think if i take him i dont think we wil like it as will be tied down to bed times and stuck in hotel rooms by 8 every night, will need an army of baby sitters if we do, certainly wont be as good as the last few times ive been
yeah i do see what you mean but you could always get an apartment room that has a sperate bedroom to living area and spend the days doing lots of interesting vegas things - magic shows, secret garden, aquarium etc as a 1 year old would find these interesting and then spend the evening as a couple chilling out and having drinks etc. but then possibly you could do that anywhere in the world!! im not sure.
this trip we didnt take her as wanted to be out celebrating wedding and having some relaxing couple time but i did feel she was a little too young for vegas too. plus the long flight and cnnections etc i would have had a cranky baby on my hands!
i guess its up to the individual. tough decision.

October , NovemberNot sure if this would interest many, but Lance Burton's show at Monte Carlo has now closed and from 7th October street dance group Jabbawockeez will appear in that theatre.
I love street dance, so we're kind of considering it...but given that the day we've looked at we could get seats in the front row, I wouldn't have thought there is a massive rush to get something booked!
Ooh that's interesting news ferf. 7th October is our last night in Vegas - we fly back on the 8th - and think the other half would rather see Jabbawockeez than a Cirque show or something - we watched that random Randy Jackson's America's Best Dance Crew on MTV when they won and thought their dancing was amazing.
Has anyone ever been to a show in the Monte Carlo theatre? Looking at their website and the ticket pricing I'm assuming Section 1 ($79.45) will be the main floor, Section 2 ($59.45) the mezzanine and Section 3 ($49.45) the balcony - just wondering what the view would be like in the cheaper seats, too far away or is it quite a small theatre? I'm guessing there won't be any deals on tickets as it's a brand new show?0 -

We saw Lance Burton there...we were in the front row, but I don't think that there would be a particularly bad seat in the house as it's quite small...the Section 2 seats are behind and a few steps up from the section 1 seats. If we go to Jabbawockeez we're probably going to go for the mid-range seats I think...I think too close would be too close. As for deals, i may be too early for deals, but it doesn't seem that tickets are selling like hotcakes to me...I was looking at 20th October and for each section we could have the first row, most centered seats in that row...so may be that deals will come up.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
October , NovemberYeah I had a look what tickets we could get and it came up with row C in the front section or the front row or two in both the cheaper sections even for what would be the opening night so it's hardly selling out is it?! We actually fly out next Friday as we're touring California (and getting married :j) before heading to Vegas so I'm doubting there will be any online offers before we leave, but might just leave it and think about getting tickets when we get there.
Just have to decide whether we would see the Jabbawockeez show instead of seeing Ka with the Summer of Cirque promo, which was our original plan, or maybe do both.0 -

that's what international will-call normally means, pick up tickets at the box office.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
See how people differ. We were really looking forward to the M buffet but found it wanting in so many ways. OK you get drinks thrown in, but I get that out on the casino floor. The choices were rather limited, and for the price ($30 seafood night) it is only a few dollars less than Wynn, which is far better
Agree that Wynn is better but on a normal night the Wynn is about $12 a head extra with no free drinks.0 -

Yes and Yes.
A division higher than the likes of MGM, NYNY, Mirage, Mandalay Bay, PH.
In similar league to Bellagio, Wynn, Caesars.
The worst room at Venetian or Palazzo (which is a split level suite with two 32in LCDs) is ten times better than the worst room at Caesars.illegitimi non carborundum0
