we also loved the M Resort buffet - loooong queue though - about an hour at lunch which is the longest we've stood in a queue for food in a long time. We had a buy-one-get-one-free voucher from the LVA book.

I'm not a big drinker but the did have beer, wine and cider included. Hubby tried the cider and didn't like it (I tasted it and didn't either).

I would gladly go back next time we have a voucher but would probably try to go at an odd time as the wait was just annoying. Food was great we thought...the Thai station was a nice surprise. I know stoneman tried it and wasn't impressed though...so as always different people will have different opinions.

    hi guys,

i'm heading off next june to get married, gonna be in vegas for probably a week. We have 3 nights in caesars already sorted, 2 as part of the wedding package.

Looking for a bit of advice as to where to spend the remaining 4 nights - we've been to vegas a couple of times but stayed in excalibur and luxor. Looking at more upmarket hotels this time, maybe PH or Aria also noticed from this thread that we could get a spa suite in mgm for £305 (until tomorrow)

    Any tips or advice?
    cheers
    zaf.

well hopefully you don't have a classic room booked at Caesars as that would be a step down from the Excalibur from people feedback .

if you really want to go upmarket then try to see what Wynn offers appear . people on this forum have got very good room rates

I wondered the same thing and what will happen with the lion, hope they dont put it down

I wouldn't think so - it doesn't really seem like it had majorly bad intentions...I think if it did it would have been a much, much worse video! I do love how the sensible lady lion seems to be saying 'oy! leave the stupid human alone, you're going to get us all into trouble'. :)

i doubt it will be put to sleep . these are wild animals after all . i'm sure the trainers and owners know that there is no such thing as 100% safe feline . ever stroked your cat too much and got a nip on the finger when it got over excited ? .

The White Tiger that mauled Roy ( or was siegfried ? ) is still in the Secret Garden @ The Mirage

[QUOTE=ferf1223;..most times we've arrived at ORD by the time we're through immigration our bags are either on the carousel by the time we get there or just coming out.

You can check immigration wait times here to get an idea.

Took us an hour to clear immigration at Chicago on Monday, arrived just after 2 planes from japan and Korea. Have got through in 5 minutes other times

Depends if you have a car and vouchers

We always have loads of bogof vouchers and a car.

Our fav for value are off strip

M resort is only about $10 for breakfast

    Green Valley ranch

    Red Rock

Closest to strip and prob best value is the Orleans $8 for breakfast

    On strip

    Favs are
PH $5 off coupons available here http://www.destinationcoupons.com/Nevada/Las_Vegas/spice-market-buffet/buffet.asp

Print as many as you like.

Harrahs and Flamingo are both good for breakfast

Most like Paris for brfast but I think it is much the same as others but costs more and always has a looooong line

Dont forget the allday pass if you want to use the Harrahs buffets which does include Rio which is def worth a trip

we are hoping to book a helicopter tour of the gc over the next week or so. we travelon 10th nov to lv. i know boa highlighted the story about papillion crash - has anyone else had bad (or good) experiences with them?

it will be for 4 adults, and ideally picked up from hotel early morning & back around lunch time. would love to be able to stop & get pics taken etc.

ive had a look online, and diff companies offer different tours - some do north rim & others do south? i am clueless as to what the difference is & which one we would be better pricing/booking?

any advice & opinions appreciated x
