As I know someone will ask - they are antelope squirrels from the Maverick landing site in the Grand Canyon.

Great pictures - and feeding the squirrels is almost enough for me to want to take a helicopter trip to the GC! :)

We just go casual, lightweight combat trousers for me with some type of t shirt or vest top or jeans etc.

We only got dressed up properly once and that was when we first went and I took a bit of a gown as we were celebrating our honeymoon and went for a very posh dinner at the Paris restuarant on top of the eiffel tower bit.

It was fun but not really us and a pain to lug a gown in a gown bag all the way there for one evening.

I am Mr Casual (some would say slob!) and prefer shorts and a polo shirt as I wear a suit all day at work. You need to dress for the heat (depending upon when you go) and some people like to dress-up for some of the shows. I felt very under dressed at Phantom, where a lot of people seemed to have put on their glad rags. Penn and Tellor was less formal. That said, I wasn't the only person in shorts at Phantom, so it's up to you.

Likewise for the restaurants. If you enjoy dressing-up then you'll fit right in at the 'posher' restuarants - but much of LV dining is far less formal.

A key decision is footwear - you will be doing a whole lot of walking!

    Hope this helps:)

    Some cracking photos there Boa!

As for dress code, I've seen sequins at breakfast and shorts at midnight. We prefer to wear trousers and top/shirt for shows or high end restaurants rather than shorts, but have worn shorts at a casual restaurant. Most people dress up a little for shows, again just trousers and top/shirt, although some seem to turn up in the same clothes they have been wearing all day.

I think sometimes it depends on the show, too...we always go as we are (shorts and top in warmer months, jeans and top in cooler months) and never felt under dressed at all - were usually dressed as 50% or more of others were...but for Bette Midler I felt like we were underdressed as almost everyone else was wearing much nicer stuff.

But we don't even bring dressy clothes to Vegas - like Boa we dress up for work and prefer not to on holiday...fine with us not to go to the high end restaurants that have a dress code and most others we'll again be like about 50% of the other guests (better than many, too). One of the things we like about Vegas is with a few exceptions and within the realms of common sense, almost anything goes. Others take a Vegas trip as a chance to dress up every evening and that's great if that's what they are comfortable in...us, not so much. :)

I don't actually own any formal clothes. Tony doesn't either. If he had to do a shirt and tie for dinner he'd starve!
