Re Ross Dress for Less, I went to the one near the Wallmart near the airport...fantastic, hardly anyone there and some great bargains.

I admit I'm not really a clothes person and can't be [STRIKE]ars[/STRIKE] bothered :D to go through all the racks but found a few bits and pieces for my daughters. I tend to head for the kitchen equipment stuff.

    Noticed luggage very reasonable too.

For similar bargainous shopping I found Tuesday Morning to be heaven. You will need a car, unless you get a taxi, there are various locations around the Vegas area. Everything from gorgeous kitchen items to christmas decorations, luggage, mmmm just gorgeous stuff.

Thanks Triker. The one on Decatur and Charleston looks easy to get to by bus. We'll have a look next month.

Tuesday Morning I heard about for the first time last week. I wanted a particular fabric laptop bag they had in close out -was less much than half price at a ridiculous $29.99 -even paying a friend to send it over here it's a bargain.

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Yes a few of us have used CityandShow with no problems.

Check their cancellation policy. I'm pretty sure it's the same as the hotel's, full refund if cancelled 48-72 hours ahead.

I think you can do better than that. What dates is it for?

Am not going till next May, flights are booked was just being nosey as was bored, I know its best waiting till nearer the time, have a budget of about £500 for the 5 nights.

Given that luggage allowance's have gone down, I had to factor this into our flight costs because I had to leave so much amazing stuff in the shop behind because I knew it'd weigh too much to bring back or even post.

So this time, I am prepared.:D

If you're quite entrepreneurial, you could probably find stuff to resell in blighty...this is a plan I'd like to explore more at some point.

Not sure that's correct - there is an option to transfer miles in the members section - but haven't tried it yet

A few pictures from our recent trip. Not many of the strip as these mostly had the family in them - but a bit off the beaten track to show there's more to Vegas than the hotels and casino's.

As I know someone will ask - they are antelope squirrels from the Maverick landing site in the Grand Canyon.

    Hope you enjoy:)
