I hope you are still posting them on HT ...I for one would be lost without your offer posts.
Just off over there now to do my Benalmadena TR

Oh crikey, I was hoping Luci would continue to post - where is HT? (am being extremely slow today, I do apologise) I need to book a hotel in the next week or two and was hoping for an awesome bargain.

I am still posting them on HT (Holiday Truths), no complaints there!

There have been a couple of cracking offers of Aria from $109 and Vdara from $99.

No the offers haven't dried up although I don't think there have been as much as usual.

There was great debate on here about posting the offers and various suggestions such as putting them on a spreadsheet or Google document or in a different format.

I'm not prepared to faff about with anything like that as it takes long enough to post them the way I was doing. However it seemed that people didn't like it done that way so I've stopped posting offers on here.

i thought it was only stoneman that asked if there was a different way of doing it, thereby some people suggested alternatives -- i thought ultimately it was felt you should do it however you wanted it... however all that being said, if that's the way you feel then no problem  i feel the thread has now lost a certain 'something' tho :)

Sorry to just wade in!just seen on sky sports news that manny pacqiao (sp?) is fightin on 13th november so its while we are in vegas!but location hasnt been confirmed as to whether its vegas or mexico.

Im jumpin the gun completely but if the fight goes ahead in vegas, any ideas on how we could try and get tickets?we are staying in mgm 10th to 13th november then moving to encore for 4 nights.

Thanks in advance - i know there are quite a few ifs & buts but fingers crossed!!

If it's in Vegas I think it's likely to be at MGM - I think all their tickets are sold through Ticketmaster. I get the impression that they sell pretty quick but there's likely to be advance notice of the on-sale date so if you're able to be at a computer at the time tickets go on sale you could have some luck.

I've already booked my hotels for this year so I don't really need the offer info, but I'd still be very interested to read it! It's always good to see what type of offers there are, especially if you are going year after year and it gives you clues as to what to expect next year etc.

I say keep up the offer posts Luci. There doesn't seem to be any movement on the spreadsheet thing anyway. If you can't be bothered though, then it's entirely up to you! :)

Must be under 6 weeks till we go. Can't really see that far ahead yet though as we get the keys to our new house next week, so will be very busy with that. Moving in less than 2 weeks before the Vegas trip, we'll be needing the rest by then!

It seems such a shame-no-one who wanted a spreadsheet seems to have any interest in maintaining it-so all that has happened is we've lost a good resource for nothing.

Can't say I blame Luci -I had a similar experience recently on another forum and did the same thing-decided not to post information any more that takes time to put together just for people to biatch and moan about it. (It was a minority there too but there are times you have to draw a line)

jaysus, reading that back it sounds like i'm pointing fingers or something - sorry stoneman, wasn't my intention :) sometimes i type responses without thinking!

my point was it was just a simple request (from what I recall) and I think people were trying to help with solutions that may benefit... I thought they were all pretty much disgarded tho

i didn't feel there was any !!!!!ing or moaning from anyone - merely suggestions of different ways of doing it for people who don't subscribe to the thread

...anyways, i'll stop pestering now as it's obviously been perceived differently and there's nowt worse than being hassled to do something if the motivation to do it isn't there!! :)

cheers for all that you did luci
