I think I am just confusing everybody here

I have booked and paid for additional driver with CH3000, I have never used DE before. The membership number is on my CH3000 voucher but DE dont have my wifes license number in advance (as they do mine).

The vouchers only have additional driver paid for, no details

I though the downsatirs desk had all the paperwork preprinted and ready to go. They cant do that if they have no knowledge of my wifes license number.

I wanted to avoid the queues. I will still try and get them top add my wifes license details downstairs..that is the issue

what you have done is exactly what we just have done. We went straight to Express downstairs, the guy took a minute recording relevant details of our licenses and getting us to sign at the relevant spots and we were then on our way. No messing with them asking us if we want various extras - extremely painless, extremely quick and like ourselves - missus is on the rental but is only on "just in case"

Forgot to say .....was up at Red Rock Canyon on Thursday and after a wander about (nice new visitor centre since last time we were there) we stopped in at the Red Rock Casino. I think I can safely say that if this place was close to the strip it would be my casino of choice for a lot of our token gambling and messing about. It really is a very nice place, and going by the price of rooms pretty up market. Has anybody actually stayed there? Missus also hit it big on their daily players card swipe - winning a double status upgrade up to their platinum level so hopefully a few good offers might come through the post.

For the other fitness fanatics out there, every Wednesday at 6:00pm you can join the strip running club for a 1/3/5 mile run/jog along the strip. meets at the Nike store in the forum shops and there is free water etc for all participants. Great way to meet a load of locals and find out whats ...happening....

We really like Red Rock Casino. A lovely property. Never stayed there, but we have friends who live close by, so we go there to eat with them. They have a Yard House now too.

I haven't stayed there but we visited when we were there last year and I really, really liked it and would stay there.

Unfortunately my hubby didn't and we had to leave fairly quickly...I really liked the vibe of the place.

It's certainly possible to do the first part of this, as I have just purchased a general $50 certificate for $4 using the current code PLATE...whether or not I will manage to get a Stripburger cert or not remains to be seen - I'll be giving it a try on 1st August and will let you all know! If not, I'll just use the $50 credit for another restaurant either in Las Vegas or somewhere else on our trip, no harm done.

Out of curiosity, how did you choose to have the certificate delivered? My sister lives in the US and my billing address is hers (I pay by PayPal so it doesn't matter)...I've ordered a $100 certificate, but can't see it in my account. I did receive an order confirmation from them, with an order number but that order number is not the certificate number to redeem (I tried). I didn't see an option to email the certificate to the recipient when I ordered and still can't.

I'm usually pretty good at this stuff, but I'm perplexed. Have you been able to claim the certificate in your account?
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Hi,

Just wondering what are currently the hottest shows in Vegas.
I was thinking about to see Cirque du Soleil, problem is it comes with
a hefty price tag (100 Dollars and more). Is it worth it? Any other shows worth a visit?

    Thanks!

I thought the BA strikes were causing problems with all airlines, dont know why I think that though.

EDIT it wasnt the BA strikes I was thinking about it was the Ash cloud, that must have made a difference altho it may have been clear by the time you were checking

Have you monitored them since you have been back, I cant find a way of checking old arrivals/departures only todays

I have use that Virgin flight about 6 times and always been ontime/early

Yes it might have been the ash cloud that was causing delays to the Virgin flights at that time. However it didn't seem to be affecting the BA flights.

No I haven't monitored the flights since coming home as I had no interest after that. I was just checking to see what the situation might be for our return flight.

    Define "hottest" ?
Sexiest, most popular, best of type. ?

What kind of shows do you enjoy at home ? What sort of age group are you?

Cirque leaves me cold but others love it .

For me top shows I want to see next trip are Donny and Marie (again) Human Nature and JerseyBoys

$100 isn't expensive for a show ticket in Vegas -prices are roughly comparable with London (actrually a bit cheaper)

See page one for details of discount tickets....Goldstar are pretty good and travelzoo often have good offers too

    MSE Florida wedding .....no problem

Hmmm...sounds like maybe something has gone a bit wrong with yours as my $50 cert just went straight to my account.
You're right the order number isn't the same as the cert number and they don't show the cert number anywhere on your confirmation email as far as I can see.

There is definately an email to recipient option which wasn't working properly when I ordered mine (kept coming up with an error message) but now looks ok...on the confirmation email they sent you, is there a big green 'button' about half way down saying "print certificate and redeem special offers"? If so, I think you click through and fill the details in there to email it to someone or print it off to get access to the cert number.

    Hope you get it sorted.
