Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker
May
just want to say a big thank you to everyone on here for all their comments and suggestions, we got back from our first trip to Vegas on friday and I still have to pinch myself to believe we actually went.
We had 5 nights at the Bellagio, tried the $20 trick at check in but didn't work, it was memorial weekend so think they were full, at least we tried.
Saw Matt Goss in the gossy room, he was amazing and got to chat and have a drink with him after, would recommend anyone to go.
Did the grand canyon trip even though was so scared on the way there so kept shutting my eyes!! I don't do heights, worth it when we got there though and the champagne helped the flying on the way back.
Saw love at the mirage which was excellent and also managed to look round Caesars Palace, Mirage, Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn, Encore, Ballys, PH, Paris, City Centre, Mgm, NY NY and Montecarlo.
Also did lots of shopping, sunbathing and a bit of gambling.
Also just to let you know Luci our anniversary meal at Alize was amazing thanks for recommending we go there.
Would love to go back next year as there was so much we didn't get to see, just need to ask the grandparents!! Am now back home and 2 kids and jet lag really don't mix!!

Glad you also enjoyed Alize. Think we might go back for OH's birthday. It was in the same price bracket as Stripsteak, but far superior in every way.

Thanks for info. I have had a look at the Virgin website for flights and I can see they are starting a service direct from Manchester in April 2011, I have also browsed the AA site and the prices seem good if I was going in October of this year albeit the flights with AA are not direct.
Has anyone any experiences with either of these carriers?

Thanks again, by the way the purpose of my trip is to get married.

Theres this one Luci posted a few days ago which includes drinks credit https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/b...mo&code=SIG977 then theres the BST10 (Best for 2010) code if that one doesnt cover your dates.

Thanks, just checked the dates i booked 2 months ago and saving about $200 on our stay.

Do you phone up to ask to change the booking? If so what is the best way to phone them from here (cheaper option i mean)

can either call them up and ask , or book this one then cancel existing booking .

use MSE call checker to find cheap call service

Tell me about it, was like stepping into an oven as we left the casino!

This was up at the Stratosphere, taken around 6-6.30pm

I've been in Sept at it was still 100 at midnight.....
Ahh, but at least it is a dry heat:D
Don't know if it is still the record but we were there on the day the bomb blasts in London 7/7 and it was 118, was reported that was the all time high at the time. Me, I kinda like it, you know where you are when it's hot;)
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Hi Bailey Trets has told you best way to phone but I emailed them the other week on this address signatureconcierge@lv.mgmgrand.com about our stay and they replied within a few hours (I was very impressed) I panic a bit so I like the email option where it works so I have stuff in writing haha! But we have also called a few times before and they were fine as well. Roll on Sept! :):):):)
