I am hoping that I can use my VS Amex reward and upgrade vouchers on that route, but knowing that availability is somewhat like hens teeth anyway I am not holding my breath.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

  • Long time lurker of this thread, infact I read it religiously before my trip to Vegas in December 2008.

I have a bit of a premature question....

    Mayweather vs Pacquaio

Should this fight ever go ahead, would I be right to assume that flight prices would most likely go up for those dates? Also, has anyone had success in getting fight tickets before?? I imagine it's quite difficult to do, not that we'd be shelling out for the good seats anyway.

Anyone who has any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

    Hiya,

My parents are off to Vegas for the 1st time in August. They are thinking of the Excaliber for the first 4 nights and then stratasphere for the last night before they fly to New York for few days! Is the Excaliber good? Also the Stratasphere says it includes unlimited tower admission, has anyone used this?

    Thanks.

We thought Excalibur was fine - nothing special but nothing awful...but it depends on what they are used to. It's a much better location than Stratosphere - is there a reason they are thinking about moving there for their last night? Unlimited tower admission would just be to go up to the observation deck - not sure how many times someone would want to use that - though I suppose once in the day and once at night to see the different sorts of views.

Are they looking at these two because they are on a bit of a limited budget and they are the least expensive options they are seeing?
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
