(i did see another video that was posted by Wynn on YouTube the other day of the beach club but it appears to have been removed!?)

Edit: official Wynn Youtube page is here (with more clips of the Beach Club):

Must say, not my sort of place:p
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    Thanks Luci.

Would you recommend it before others?

Not sure if I would recommend it before others, but only because I like to try different hotels.

I would definitely recommend it though and we stayed there several times before moving on and trying other places.

The first time we stayed we booked a fountain view room as it was important to me at the time. For subsequent stays we just booked a deluxe room and were successful every time with the $20 trick at check in.

Not sure if the success rate is the same now that it has been taken over by Harrah's. https://www.frontdesktip.com

I agree with ferf. The Bellagio is nothing special, it's the fountain view that makes it. The room was pretty boring otherwise. And like ferf, we have never felt the need to go back.

As for extras for birthdays, etc I got a card from Stripsteak. Maggiano's sends you a discount email if you sign up on their website and a few restaurants will give you a free dessert - Mon Ami Gabi, Alize, Switch.
Quite agree with you here. The B is living off of a perceived reputation. we had a deluxe facing the pool, it was pokey to say the least. House keeping was not up to much either.
If I had the option for the same money I would pick an Augustus tower room at Caesars. I don't know about others, but I really didn't consider that we had REALLY stayed in Vegas until we stayed at Caesars Palace. We have stayed in almost every place on the strip, and CP just seems quintessential Vegas every time

New Direct Virgin Flights (Manchester --> Vegas)

Just a heads up for us dirty northerners.... the Manchester to Vegas direct flights are now available on Virgin's website (www.virgin-atlantic.com)

I've had a quick look and cheapest at the moment looks like 21st April - 28th April which is £528 for cattle class and only £466 using Miles Plus Money (2k miles)

.... bear in mind that Easter Sunday is 24th April so I thought flights covering these dates would be more expensive than the rest of the schedule available!

Anyways, I was expecting daft flight times but they're actually really rather good!

Hopefully a good sale will reap some better prices!!! :)

We found the Paris Red Room to be a nice one too (not sure you can pay for the fountain view however, so for you it may just be down to luck of the draw / bribe ;) )

Here's some piccies from when we were there (from here:
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=22554153&postcount=5218 )

I know a few others on here who've stayed there think it's small, but for the price we got it at (admittedly it was $20 tip stuff), it was absolutely fantastic! :) ... not forgetting it just takes a few minutes to get on the strip and you're in a great location :)
I would agree that the Red room is nice, but yes it is very small. My advice would be to ask for a "P" room, they are either at the very ends or right near the lifts, and extra large.
One thing I don't like about Paris rooms is the bathrooms. I don't know if we were unlucky with our stays but both the "P" and "Red" room BR's seem to be in need of an update.
