Hottest for me was 110 a few years back and I liked it, may beat that this year in Aug.
Doesnt beat the 143* I had to work in, way back in the 80s though!!!!
That was HOT !!!!!!
I got married last year in Vegas and it peaked at 118 degrees - daftly I picked 4pm to get married - i thought it would cool down noon...didnt realise that was the hottest time :rotfl:
I love Vegas heat - my asthma disapears in Vegas too.0 -

The all-time record official high temperature in Vegas is 117, last reached in 2005, a couple of weeks after the 7/7 bombings.
The hotter the better for us also - we won't be trying the marathon but will happily spend many hours hiking mid summer0 -
Maywell we have only been back 5 days and have allready decided we want to go back next year if we can get babysitters!! we can either go the same time again May halfterm (May28 )or either the first or last week of the school summer holidays July 23 or August 20 , my only worry going in July or August is can i handle the heat!! I was ok when we were there last week, but know it will much hotter. Also would the flight be cheaper or more expensive in July and August?0

MarchJuly and most of August are the most expensive times although they do drop substantially around 25 August.
I needed to be there early August this year and there was nothing under £700 direct or indirect. So plan on May
In case anyone is interested I've ended up booking a cheap Ryanair Gatwick to Dublin on a seperate ticket -and then Aer Lingus Dublin to Gatwich onto Virgin Gatwick to Vegas -same route coming back but I'll only check my bags as far as London and then "miss" the London Dublin. Booked through a US site. A bit nuts but a staggering £200 cheaper doing it this way so I'm having a day in Dublin and do actually have plans to meet friends for lunch as I'm there LOLI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
October , Novemberdone Vegas 6 times before...this will be my 7th time, we're looking at going away in October. First off I'd like to ask about American Airlines. Their prices are a tad cheaper than most other airlines, but I've never been with them before. They seem good enough, what's the general feeling towards the AA Vegas flights?
Secondly I've always done Vegas with family and never really experienced the night life properly. With 8 lads (youngest is 22) are there any hotels in paticular you'd suggest? I have stayed at the Luxor 4 times purley for the price, but found out the money we save we ended up spending on taxi's, so I'd like to stay a bit further up the strip!
Expedia.co.uk have some great deals for the Hard Rock Casino....but I've read very mixed reviews on Trip Advisor. Add to the fact the same situation as the luxor...we'd end up spending money on taxi's left right and center.0 -

If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

SeptemberOh well, I got my arm twisted again!! Funny we both sit down after we arrive back home and seem to complain about things, and within a few weeks she is saying "when we going back again". So booked 2 reward Clubworld seats with BA for end of May (thanks to more than 150,000 Tesco redemptions) Still costing over £700 in taxes and fees though, ouch!
Also dumped the idea of AC and going to Miami for a cruise and stay in November, (AA reward flights). So yesterday i managed to book 2 holidays in less than 1 hour. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot.
