Picked up car at Rentacenter, and arrived at Signature at 8pm. Bit bizarre that you dont know the tower before arrival as each one has a separate entrance.
Also included is the gym.....more of a room than a gym, but quite big, and decent machines (so Mrs Frog tells me). Theres one gym in each tower, QUOTE]
Did the guy on the main gate not tell you what tower you were in?
Has Tower 2 now got a gym also?
Tower 2 gym......ummmm......assumed it did!!! Maybe notNot my speciality gyms!!! Whats in the equivalent room in T2/T3?
Main gate guy.....ummmm.....skipped him as it was dark, didnt see the sign, and went in the registered guests lane!!! Apparently he gives you a valet card so you dont need a new one every time you arrive back.illegitimi non carborundum0 -
I'm off to Vegas on Saturday for work, but I arrive and have 2 days to myself first. I've poured over this great thread this evening, I think I need a week to read it all properly. So please forgive me if my question's have been answered already somewhere.
I'm staying at Treasure Island, Is there a shuttle to the hotel?
Should I hire a car for my free days, I want to have a bit of an explore. I'm thinking that's going to be cheapest. If I hire a car do I have to get it from the Airport? Or should I just use the bus and rail?
Malls - Which one was your favourite? Got to take something back for the wife.
Things I must do whilst there, remember only 2 days to myself. I'm not one for casinos or for going to shows on my own.
Do like nice food and atmosphere. But not expensive.
Many thanks for the advice.0 -
I'd say your best bet is to take a cab to the hotel, about $20 max. If you hire a car through netflights you will be able to select Dollar at Treasure Island as your pick up. The pick up is over past the Mystere Theatre and upstairs on the escalator beside there. The parking garage is also right there outside.
For shopping, there is a mall right next door, Fashion Show Mall. You can take a walkway from TI over to there. Plenty of shops, including Macy's etc where you will be able to pick up a gift for your wife.0 -
AprilI know I can look but what is the fee for a 2nd case?
Depends on the airline - I think when we looked AA was $50...which based on what it would cost us to ship stuff home may be worth it not to have to worry about going over.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Aprilrestaurant.com 80% off code is INDULGE
Just bought 2 certificates - one for each of the cafes at MB - The Cafe & Raffles. Have now emailed restaurant.com to ask how the voucher for The Cafe works if it says it's only good on dinner and it doesn't appear that The Cafe is open for dinner.
Anyone tried either? I'm pretty sure I've read a few trip reports with comments - but can't for the life of me remember which. I figure if we're staying there for 3 nights, may as well sample the local cuisine.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

anyways, i think i've been the Cafe - i'm struggling to load the map to check tho (get 'drawing error occurred'): http://www.mandalaybay.com/images/convMaps/pdf/Casino.pdf
if it's on the way into 'The Hotel' then i've defo been but was 3 or 4 years ago... i'll ask the missus what it was like when she awakes from her slumber!
edit: and all of a sudden, the link is working... it is the one we've been, i'll see what the missus says about it - she'll have a full review written somewherei recall it being ok but a bit of an odd location!
was quiet when we went tho (evening) so maybe that's why they've ditched doing dinner! was certainly off the beaten track slightly!
