JuneHi WestHamDaz,
After reading your post I checked out Crown Currency's website. It looks quite good and the rate would be 1.67 for me too if I booked soon.
My question is - have you used them before?
I am a bit wary of sending them all my spending money and not getting anything till a week before we travel....
Does everyone on here use them?!......
Thanks.
Steff;)
hi steff, i used them for our vegas trip last year for part of our money, and like others have posted there was no problem with them0 -
AprilNext trip is all but booked seats are on hold with Delta.
Airfare is crazy this Easter -last year we paid £330 each (for Easter last year-this year just before Easter) -this years it's £450 plus so using miles instead. Hotels are still high too so playing a waiting game for now-it'll be 2 nights on Strip and the last night at the Sun Coast as I have friends there and we're all attending the same show on the Sunday so might as well stay and use their free shuttle to the airport the next day even though I have comps at Rio and Harrahs that night. No comps for the weekend nights but it's nice Harrahs are finally offering me something.
Depending on when exactly you arrive - the MB and The Hotel deals Luci posted recently are good to the 7th.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

We never do...have never had a problem. I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that if you call, they will tell you you don't have to call. I suppose it can't hurt to tell them if you're at all concerned about it.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
AprilIm going to be booking the Flamingo today through Hotels.com (so i can get cashback).
There is a 10% off booking voucher on there, which when i input it, the 10% comes off no problem.
But this little bit of info is in the T&C's
Now, as i say, the money comes off when i put the code in. But would this bit in the T&C's make my booking invalid?
(As Flamingo is part of Harrah's)
Thanks.
Possibly - though like Trets said, they had a pricing issue a few years ago - I think it was with several hotels but some of us (me included) did stay at Wynn for a silly price...no problem at all. But in that case, it wasn't a coupon we were using.
Have you checked that you can't beat the hotels.com rates booking direct through one of the various offers around or through their hot deals calendar?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Hi would love some advice from you experienced travellers to Las Vegas if possible!!
We are due to go to LV around the 19th April for 4/5 nights, flying from any london/east mids airport. It ll be our 1st time so am very confused by the different options of hotels, package deals, etc.
Does anyone know if it s cheaper to
-Book everything seperately- transfers/flights/hotels/helicopter flights etc
-Booking as a package with Virgin say
-Which hotels are best
-Worthwhile places to visit
-recommendations on where to get married!
-places to eat etc
There are only 2 of us, as a birthday treat for my partner...he has to marry me while we re out there though!!
I have no idea what to really expect, want it to be super special without having to miss all the action by being in the wrong part of LV!!
If anyone has any suggestions I would be greatful for some advice!!!
Thankyou!

BTW hi from Miami!!The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
Hi Froggitt, loved the trip report, want to try that soup now, sounds lovely.
Did the phones come in useful, were you able to top them up ok?
My vegas trip planning is on hold for this year because I'm trying to get myself debt free again and accrue some savings, so I'm trying to be sensible but its hard.:o
In the meantime I'll just keep to enjoying everyone's posts and reports.
Oh yes forgot about the phones - youre a star - thanks again.....oh and Ive just had the first request for their reuse by PM!!!
Tip for you all re Net10 phones....whatever the website says, you cannot topup online with a UK credit card/UK address. You have to buy the topup card, either ebay before you go, or when you get there......or find someone with a USA credit card. Thats a bummer as you can topup a smaller amount online compared to cards.
Also, their topup minutes expire after a set number of days.......more topup equals longer expiry.illegitimi non carborundum0 -
