staying at Caesars Palace for £755 each is this good as I have no idea?

What type of room at CP would be another question in addition to the price for the flight...the classic rooms are not said to be very nice.

If the package price is £755, assuming there are 2 of you that's £1510.

Less flights on their own £485*2 = (£970)...leaving £540 left for the room.

At 1.6 exchange rate that's $864

Looking only at the standard rate calendar for Caesars for your dates comes up with $880 for the lower-tier rooms.

So if you booked everything today one way or the other, it would cost you $16 more to do it separately...and closer to your dates you will likely find much better hotel prices...and if you book seperately you don't have to pay for the hotel in full now - just the first night...so you can look around. Your dates fall over Thanksgiving, which may mean they're slightly higher than normal, though looking at the Caesars rate calendar, it's not the case yet.

Caesars Classic rooms/Roman Tower (or is it Forum Tower......I forget) suck bigtime. Comparable to a Holiday Inn......soiled carpets, frayed linen, fixtures hanging off the wall.

You can get so much better for the cost of those rooms. I regretted booking them as soon as I walked in the room.

Forum Tower is the one that was renovated about a year or 18 months ago...I think it's the Roman and Centurion towers that are the crappy ones.

duchy - I'm not sure that offer is actually a 'for all' offer...it's pretty much what we get offered from the Hilton through the players club offers they mail to us...the Hilton being the only club that actually posts stuff to the UK. We've thought about taking them up on it before but haven't. I know people who have stayed there and were perfectly happy with it. We've had the buffet but not for a couple of years - it was perfectly suitable, if not particularly inspiring.

The offer does say at the bottom -
Offer valid for recipient of this email only.
