I completed that online ESTA application last April, but I'm off again in June.
Do I need to complete it again or not? I haven't got the number they gave but I was just wondering whether I need to apply again or if they'll just have it on their systems at immigration.
Thanks.0 -
JuneYou don't need to apply again, they will have the information on their system. But if you want piece of mind (something in writing to take with you) there's nothing to stop you applying again. That's what I did for my upcoming trip!0

Once approved ESTA is valid for 2 years, or until passport expires if sooner. I think you are meant to update it with flight details & address of where you will be staying (first night).
If you renew your passport you need to re-apply as the passport number is different.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

September- If dropping off a rental car at the airport, leave a bit of time as we had to wait quite a while for the shuttle bus (drop-off seems a long way from terminal).
Bit of a tip, instead of spending the $3? for a luggage trolley, just go inside the terminal building, there always seems to be one sitting around by the check-in desks. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
AprilWe have always had a bus waiting to take us either to the airport terminal or the car rental facility.
Maybe we were just unlucky then. What do you mean by "a long way from the terminal"? If you are traveling international IE BA, Virgin, etc you have to get on the bus that takes you to terminal 2, which lets you off right outside the terminal doors. If you get on the wrong bus then yes you will have a long hike.
I was not clear - didn't mean there was a hike from the bus to the terminal (as you say it stops right in front of the terminal building, for Terminal 1). But the bus journey from dropping off the car to arriving at the terminal was longer than I expected. In fact prob not much more than 10 mins or so, but when added to the time we had to wait for the bus and then everyone loading onto it with their luggage (lots of people with golf clubs that day too) and then unloading - well, I was glad I had left plenty of time.0 -
Thanks for the Lion King ticket info Luci, we were going to buy tickets anyway, so will definitely take advantage of that.
US Airways. What are everyones experiences? We are travelling MAN - PHL - LAS next month. Are the departure times usually quite reliable? Or are there frequent delays?
And re the flight itself, how is the legroom? And do they give out blankets & pillows?
Thanks
we did a connection in PHL from MAN with US Airways (outward only) . 1st leg delayed 2 hours , they of course re booked us on a later connecting flight at MAN check in . it can happen to any flight .
Leg room fine . we had to 2 seats on their own by the window which were fine for us . IFE is rubbish but i use my IPOD anyway . think blankets and pillows were available .Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
Out of curiosity - did you sit inside or on the patio?
I agree that sometimes we read many reviews and have certain expectations that aren't met. Our first time at MAG we were walking by and decided to check the menu - we had always assumed it was a fancy, expensive place. we were really surprised by the prices and the fact that it's a place where casual attire is acceptable. We've always though the food was very good (we've been for breakfast, lunch and dinner) and have always loved the patio seating - we have never sat inside and I doubt we would since to us the patio is part of what makes it a great place.
It was inside, I dont know if i was perhaps just worn out to be honest, it was my 1st time in Vegas and we where getting married in a few days and i was probably way to stressy to enjoy it!
Will give it a try again in September and definitily go for outside.0 -

Like everything it's a matter of personal preference, but we wouldn't bother with MAG if it weren't for the patio seating...that's what makes it an especially great place for us. The food is good (we think) and good value, but the Vegassy-ness of sitting on the patio makes it special.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
MayThe first time we went to MAG we had a patio table and everything was great including the food.
It was so good we returns 3-4 nights later, but even at almost 10pm there were no patio tables availabel so we sat inside. I don't know if we went back too quickly or whether it was because we were inside or what, but the second meal wasn't a patch on the first one.0 -
MayBrief review of our meal at Alize for Gracie.
We went up to Alize on the 56th floor at 7.30 and were seated right away even though we were half an hour early. We were seated next to the window with great views of Vegas.
I had the peppercorn crusted Filet Mignon with a cognac sauce, but asked for it without peppercorns, OH had rib eye which he said was even better than my filet. Had beignets for dessert, 2 glasses of Reisling and 2 coffees. The glass of wine was only half full and I wondered where the rest of it was.
I had an $80 Groupon certificate that I bought for $40. That was a real bonus as I had booked Alize a couple of weeks before the certificate became available.
At the end they brought out 2 chocolate truffles and a chocolate dipped strawberry with a raspberry, blueberry and blackberry with a candle for my birthday.
Service was immpecable with several waiter checking on us without being intrusive. When you moved to go to the restroom your serviette was re-folded on the table and then they replaced it on your lap.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the whole experience and I would highly recommend it for a special occasion.0
