I preferred Love to Ka and so did my husband...chances are you will find as many people who preferred Ka to Love. They are VERY different shows. I'm not a Beatles fan but really liked Love (have seen it twice).

Using the links on page 1 you can usually find good discounts and book in advance...if you have your heart set on seeing one or the other I would personally book beforehand provided you can get a decent price. Though some have had luck getting 50% off tickets to Love at the box office on the day - though I think only to the l
    ate show.

Actually, it looks like Ka's dark days are Sunday and Monday...so if those are the days that are options for you, looks like it's Love.

Thanks for that ferf..Ka is dark when I am there apart from sun May 30 so would have to do that day or Love would be the sun or mon, will have to make a decision which I am no good at lol

If you are arriving on a Saturday then I would make the show for the Monday. You will still be suffering with jetlag on the Sunday and, if you're like me, you might sleept through all of it once they turn the lights down.

I've lost count of the shows I've slept through and they're too expensive to do that.

Can I ask what offer you've been e-mailed? I signed up and the only thing I got was $50 beverage credit. I currently have 7 nights booked there in late May on their "Home Sweet Home" deal - we get the cheapest night free and breakfast at the MGM buffet. However I am now unsure if the buffet is worth it as I'm not sure I'll be able to stuff my face every day - would rather have something in the room or at Delights if it saved some money. So wondered if there was anything that offered a percentage discount like there was a few weeks ago.

Btw, I have stayed at the Signature 3 times now so if anyone has any questions about the place then fire away.

    Thanks in advance

The promo code for the deal is SIG023 I re-registered my email address to get it last night but its no good for me as it only runs till 31st Aug and we go in Sept typical haha. Cant wait to get back I love the place :)

Not long before we go to USA, we are staying in Vegas for a night before driving the grand canyon loop i.e. monument valley, lake powell, Grand Canyon etc. before having a further three nights in Vegas.

My question, would people still recommend doing the helicoptor tour to the Canyon if we've already driven there and spent a couple of days. Would it still be worth it or do you think it will lose some magic?

I completely agree - we've twice booked shows our first or second night when they were the only option and in both cases I fell asleep...though one was a 10:30 show (which I'm not sure I would do again anytime during the trip).
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Ok - I edited most of me out of the Encore room video... :)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPUgZWRtwnM

I did look into buying some of the pillows (the big ones which I love) but at $69 they were a bit too steep for me when I realised they weren't down filled (which admittedly I thought was a stunning deal when I thought they WERE down filled).

i'm sold . if i go back then Encore is high up on the list .

Welcome back Ferf , glad you had a good trip .

    Please help……………!!!!

I’m hoping for some help from all you Las Vegas experts. Me and the hubby are off to Vegas next month!! (Cant believe its come round so quick!) we’re going there for his 30th birthday. Very moneysaving of me as I’ve been putting away a bit of money for threes years saving for this! It was a surprise and my hubby’s face when I told him I had some money tuck away and was taking him to Las Vegas was priceless!!!! He’s always wanted to go and I just know we’re going to love it.

Anyway back to the point, I am sooooooooo unorganized. Like I said I can’t believe we’re going next month. I need to sort it out!!! So far we have the flights sorted and that’s it! The flights are standby, my hubby works for an airline so we can get cheap flights but take the risk of having to hang around to get on a flight. But that’s going of point a bit, we’re going to fly (hopefully) on the 18th if not the 19th and come back the 21st 22nd. So next on the to do list is booking the hotel. So many to choose from, it’s overwhelming! We’d love to stay at the Bellagio but this looks like I might be a bit to expensive, so we’re looking at the Flamingo (trying to stay central) So should I book a hotel now or wait a bit?? Also I was hoping that the hotel would be a bit flexible on the dates, any ideas about this??

Next on the to do list is what do we do when we’re there?!!! Except the obvious We want to see a show my hubby’s not really into shows but its got to be done right? Any recommendations? Also we want to see the grand canyon. I’ve heard from a couple of friends that we should book this when we’re out there, any ideas? We want to fly over it in a helicopter and maybe have a tour. Also want to take him to an amazing restaurant one evening for dinner (to mark his birthday) any recommendations? Don’t mind paying a bit for it if it’s worth it. We’re real foodies so don’t mind paying for good food and service.

The way things are going we’re going to get out there and not have a clue!!! Any help or advice would be gratefully received :)

Page 1 of this thread should be your starting point as there is info on the Grand Canyon, etc.

Are you sure you can't manage to go for more than 3 nights. I can't see how you are going to see everything and go to the Grand Canyon in that time. It can be done, but at a rapid pace.

You also don't have time to shop around for a GC trip so I would book that before you go.

A couple of us are trying the restaurant Alize at the top of the Palms as it is highly recommended on TA.

I would suggest booking a hotel now as prices may rise nearer the time. If you book direct and they come down you can contac the hotel and get the lower rate.
