When we came back to Heathrow after our first visit to the US, that was when we really noticed it.

We were paying for something, could have been at duty free or even a meal, and the girl serving us was rude, arrogant and obnoxious. We probably wouldn't even have noticed if we hadn't just returned from the Florida where everyone who served us in a shop or wherever wished us a nice day and was helpful and polite.

The difference was like night and day and that's why we noticed it. She put on some fake Cockney accent and said something that was quite unnecessary that I can't remember now. I just looked at her in disgust. I couldn't even respond to her.

I haven't notice such a marked difference returning from Vegas. Maybe I'm used to it now. Maybe it's because I found the customer service better and more genuine in Florida, particularly Orlando.

How did you know it was a fake accent ? I used to live near Heathrow (and worked at the airport) lots of people spoke like that :) (Not me of course Dah-ling-I was born in Kensington LOL)

Welcome home Ferf-sounds like a lot of faff for the buffet credit at PH-hopefully it''s just a transition to TR thing

Nah, it was OK - we figured that the points requirement would be different since TR points require less per point than A-list. We asked our first night and they told us 200 so we knew where we stood. We would have had to go to the booth to get the voucher anyway. We were just happy they were honouring the coupon as it would have been something I could have seen them cancelling.

I knew it was fake as she was talking OK and then suddenly changed accent when she started talking to us.

I just signed up for the signature guestbook, then found the offer is only up to 31st August!

Will wait a while then get hubby to sign up and see if we can get our September dates.

Any chance of a photo or two of the room ?

Took a few photos after the request was made (read: after our stuff was strewn about) so they aren't the best - but I put them in the MSE group at flickr:

    http://www.flickr.com/groups/mselasvegas/

Pretty much the same as shown on their website but they seem a bit bigger in person I think.

My husband took a video of the room at Encore just after we checked in - if I can confirm that he left me out of the video I'll post that too. :)

I preferred Love to Ka and so did my husband...chances are you will find as many people who preferred Ka to Love. They are VERY different shows. I'm not a Beatles fan but really liked Love (have seen it twice).

Using the links on page 1 you can usually find good discounts and book in advance...if you have your heart set on seeing one or the other I would personally book beforehand provided you can get a decent price. Though some have had luck getting 50% off tickets to Love at the box office on the day - though I think only to the l
    ate show.

Actually, it looks like Ka's dark days are Sunday and Monday...so if those are the days that are options for you, looks like it's Love.

Can I ask what offer you've been e-mailed? I signed up and the only thing I got was $50 beverage credit. I currently have 7 nights booked there in late May on their "Home Sweet Home" deal - we get the cheapest night free and breakfast at the MGM buffet. However I am now unsure if the buffet is worth it as I'm not sure I'll be able to stuff my face every day - would rather have something in the room or at Delights if it saved some money. So wondered if there was anything that offered a percentage discount like there was a few weeks ago.

Btw, I have stayed at the Signature 3 times now so if anyone has any questions about the place then fire away.

    Thanks in advance

There is no such thing as a free lunch. Its only free because you've paid for it.

Noone can have everything they want and the sooner you learn that the better.

Ok - I edited most of me out of the Encore room video... :)

I did look into buying some of the pillows (the big ones which I love) but at $69 they were a bit too steep for me when I realised they weren't down filled (which admittedly I thought was a stunning deal when I thought they WERE down filled).
