I did look into buying some of the pillows (the big ones which I love) but at $69 they were a bit too steep for me when I realised they weren't down filled (which admittedly I thought was a stunning deal when I thought they WERE down filled).
We have 2 of them, just swapped them for the ones that we took with us for the plane. then last trip bought 2 Wynn covers for them:D
You should see our bed, Wynn, Signature and Platinum pillows everywhere, if only I could find a way of getting one of the matresses I would have any I have slept in in Vegas, never had a bad bed yet. I think the hotel owners in Europe should go over and see, then take advise.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Check with your bank what they will charge for a dollar transaction-but really apart from that it will make no difference . If you book by phone you'll get an email confirmation same as booking on-line. I do it both ways but if I didn't get free US calls in my package I probably do it more on-line. There are posts on here however directing you to cheap ways to call the US.

I guess if you have any questions about how the package works it's better to call tho.

    Hi Guys

I'm hoping you can help with with some ideas. I'll be in vegas 22nd to 25th June. I've been for the last few years and to be honest I'm not fussed about the strip this year. I'm actually going for a marathon at lake mead on 26th (don't ask...yeah I know it is going to be crazy hot) so staying at the hacienda on 25th and 26th.

Anyway, I want to get a nice relaxing resort away from the strip for pure relaxation for a few days. I'm not a gambler so a resort without a casino is fine. Can anyone recommend some nice quiet resorts that might fit the bill?

    Thanks

    Please help……………!!!!

I’m hoping for some help from all you Las Vegas experts. Me and the hubby are off to Vegas next month!! (Cant believe its come round so quick!) we’re going there for his 30th birthday. Very moneysaving of me as I’ve been putting away a bit of money for threes years saving for this! It was a surprise and my hubby’s face when I told him I had some money tuck away and was taking him to Las Vegas was priceless!!!! He’s always wanted to go and I just know we’re going to love it.

Anyway back to the point, I am sooooooooo unorganized. Like I said I can’t believe we’re going next month. I need to sort it out!!! So far we have the flights sorted and that’s it! The flights are standby, my hubby works for an airline so we can get cheap flights but take the risk of having to hang around to get on a flight. But that’s going of point a bit, we’re going to fly (hopefully) on the 18th if not the 19th and come back the 21st 22nd. So next on the to do list is booking the hotel. So many to choose from, it’s overwhelming! We’d love to stay at the Bellagio but this looks like I might be a bit to expensive, so we’re looking at the Flamingo (trying to stay central) So should I book a hotel now or wait a bit?? Also I was hoping that the hotel would be a bit flexible on the dates, any ideas about this??

Next on the to do list is what do we do when we’re there?!!! Except the obvious We want to see a show my hubby’s not really into shows but its got to be done right? Any recommendations? Also we want to see the grand canyon. I’ve heard from a couple of friends that we should book this when we’re out there, any ideas? We want to fly over it in a helicopter and maybe have a tour. Also want to take him to an amazing restaurant one evening for dinner (to mark his birthday) any recommendations? Don’t mind paying a bit for it if it’s worth it. We’re real foodies so don’t mind paying for good food and service.

The way things are going we’re going to get out there and not have a clue!!! Any help or advice would be gratefully received :)

For such a short time I would have though any hotel should be in you price range

The first day there you will be jetlagged and wont feel like doing much that only leaves 2 days....IMO that isnt enough time to very much and def not the GC.

My best advice would be to have longer there, if you cant do that book the best you can afford, IMO Encore would suit, or Bellagio if you want more central. and then stay around the strip area.

One more thing you may have missed the best deals for hotels as they are normally 3 months (ish) in advance but can go up nearer the time

I'd have assumed they'd bill your credit card when they the cleaners inevitably discovered it.

Hotels .com has a sale right now which 'might' get you some decent rates

    Just a point or two
1 Most Vegas hotels charge you the first night in advance and don't refund it if you don't show up til the next day -something to consider on standby
2 There are some airline employee hotel rates available for Vegas hotels
