We did the early morning flight (5:30am pick up for 7am flight) so both had bad hangovers... it was fine.

Some non-canyon pictures of our trip:

i am looking around at hotels. i tevel in november, and go for a week, but want to stay in 2 different hotels. i have had a look and quite like the look of mgm and wynn.

i have found mgm for the 10th to 13th november for £395.28 for 2 rooms for 4 adults in total. i have found this through netflights. does anyone know if there will be resort fees etc? from what i remember mgm dont have resort fees just yet but netflights wont let me go anything without putting all passenger info in. the room is gradn tower double- any1 stayed in one before? and is there much chance of a upgrade? if so what room would you suggest upgrading to?

for the 2nd part of the trip i have priced wynn for 13th to 17th novmeber - this is through travel republic, and is again for 2 rooms for 4 adults in total.
the room is wynn resort room, and the total price is £702.56. this time i went direct to the wynn website and it came up at $2064 including tax at $222. is this tax the resort fee?

thanks for taking the time to read my super long post! i am trying to be super organised and would like to get something booked soon! thanks i advance

oh and also - where would i find ppls own pics of the hotels rooms? i have went to the hotel website but would rather have pics from ppl who have been - have tried google but it just brings me to trip advisor!

Some fab pix there, Matt. Thanks for sharing them. We're off on Thursday so I should really be getting my work done instead of drooling over them!

Saw the LOVE pix at the end. Did you see the show? What did you think???

Yes we saw LOVE and thought it was fantastic, tickets were a little more than some of the other shows, but well worth it in my opinion. They also have a very cool Beatles bar/club next to the theatre, you get 2for1 drinks and free entry with show tickets.

i know what your saying, I just have visions of me sitting there the whole time with my eyes shut gripping onto the seat lol

You may be surprised-we did the sightseeing plane then road to the Canyon as my friend is a dreadful flyer and decided nothing would get her on a helicoptor. Unfortunately our Hummer got a flat just as we were leaving the Canyon and no-one could find the padlock key for the spare :rotfl:
Sooo they decided to fly us out by helicoptor -she went green but we had no choice.........and she LOVED it -said it was nothing like a plane and was fun. So you never know til you try it.

HERE is a link to Vegas Casino info. All the room pics are done be the site's owner.

Plenty of other good info on that site too. I find the property maps section useful.

Just looking at the new ACE bus thing, this could be a good alternative to hiring a car. It runs 24 hours and you can get a bus from the airport for $2 to the south strip transport office which takes about 10 minutes. From there it services a lot of the hotels on the strip using the ACE and then $2 to your hotel. If we were not staying off strip this time it might have been a consideration, especially as there is a station at Wynn/Encore

We took a bus from the airport to Excalibur last year. It was very easy.

If you go here http://blonde4ever.yuku.com/forums/108/t/VEGAS-HOTEL-ROOM-VIDEOS.html you can see ppls own videos of most hotel rooms

Is the MGM for 3 nights if so my guess is you can do better than £395, you may have to wait a bit but MGM have been doing offers lately with rooms from $55 a night. I think MGM are introducing a resort fee later this year.

Grand tower rooms are fine and it is very difficult to get upgrades there without paying.

That wynn price looks good for 5 nights but maybe can be beaten have you looked at Atlaschoice or Cityandshow.

The tax is not a resort fee it is room tax of 12% a night. Wynn doesnt have a resort fee

Have stayed @ Bellagio, Mirage, Wynn, Venetian and Palazzo and I have to say my favorite is Palazzo where we stayed last week. Awsome suite for the money.
