forecast for London Wednesday says rain/snow/wind...lol
  • Thank you for all the comments. I think the budget is around £400-500 so that might rule out some of the 'grander' hotels. Mid-strip is definitely the requirement (so says h2b!), but I think he will want a nicer room with a jacuzzi rather than the view!

I looked at Caesars but I am a bit confused with all the room types. I've just looked up Aria and Vdara and I think Aria might be more in my price range! I will go and look at the suggestions you've all made, thankyou for your help so far.

A Go room with fountain view at the Flamingo would tick all your boxes-I've had one twice now and it's a great view. I do think for your budget you could probably go up a grade though-The Flamingo is great but it's definitely 3.5 star not 4 star.

(Should I mention I'm writing this from my non view room at the Flamingo ? ;) Weather is fine-little bit of wind but definitely t-shirt weather

picked up our dollars from the post office today (weren't in when they tried to deliver on Thursday) and have to say I'm grateful to those of you who mentioned the cancelled contracts section at Crown Currency Exchange...$1.71 was a brilliant result for us - just wish now we would have ordered all of it - not 1/2. .:)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Indeed. I just with they would take the risk out of it by using a ring-fenced client funds account.

I know what you mean, we have some canceled contract money with them for May, $1.76=£1 but only got £1,000:mad:
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
