    Hi all,

I have been browsing this thread for a long time and managed to get some great advice and tips from you all! So now I'm wondering if you can help me a little more?

We are going to Las Vegas in June for a week and already have 2 trips planned one to the grand canyon and one on a scoot tour... scootcitytours.com (Bargain at $110 for the 2 of us!

What else can you people advice as a must do/see whilst we are there? We of course want to fit as much in as we can!

    Thanks

my advice is not to rush around trying to squeeze in as much as you can . you cannot do it all in a week anyway .

Taking in The Bellagio fountains would be top of my list , easy enough to fit in one evening .

see a few shows , do some retail therapy , eat like king , chill out in a spa or by the pool , then have some fun playing .
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

I know what you mean we won't be rushing around, however we do have a handful of things that we want to do whilst we are there (Most of the things are just places on the strip etc)

The Bellagio fountains we will definitely see, as for eating like a king i think that will most certainly be happening too :) Diet has started here so I will definitely deserve a treat or 12 when I get there!

IMHO put a "nearby plan" together for each day. So for example, plan to see Bellagio fountains after eating at Mon Ami Gabi, which you go to just after shopping at Miracle Mile, and end the evening at the !!!!!cat Dolls blackjack lounge at Caesars.

Similarly, make another nearby plan for FSM, Grand Lux, gondola ride, Mirage Volcano and TI Sirens.

    Or KA, Rubuchon, Coyote Ugly.

Slightly off-topic, but you can go here to design your own (FREE!) luggage labels - always useful having spares even though the last lot we had from KLM are still going strong (good plastic cord on them!)

Anyways, reason i'm posting it here is because we uploaded our own Vegas pictures on to ours (and just put our SURNAME on the other side as we're suspicious of putting too much detail on!) - had a couple sent to our parents address too as backups ;)

MGM Grand seems to be coming in pretty cheap for September - Just managed to bag 3 nights at the end of September for a not too shabby £177!

Basic room at the MGM of good quality? I am not too fussy when it comes to rooms (in Vegas it's just a place to drop your bags and a couple of hours sleep) tbh but thought I would get people's opinion
£177 is not a great price for 3 nights at MGM, did you mean $177 that is better, but there are a few deals about for $55 a night, of course it depends on dates and days (weekends)

Great to post this again in case anyone missed it.:T We had ours done a few years ago now and they are looking a bit ragged, so might need some more. Trouble is we also have our VS forum tags on, as well as our VS Upper class tags, (I know, that one is pretty sad) and our AA ones as well, so something will have to give or we won't be able to get to the handles soon;)
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Thanks very much! Will print one out and see how we get on...it does look like it's expired now, but if we're going to order 2 drinks anyway, can't hurt to try it. :)
