IMHO put a "nearby plan" together for each day..

I think this is a great idea and our first trip would have been soooo much better had we had someone give us this advice. The number of times we got back to our hotel to regroup before heading out again and realised at our previous stop we were across the street/one building up or down from something we really wanted to do and didn't realise - I could not count. It was really annoying and our second trip we actually wrote index cards with stuff we wanted to do and colour-coded them by location that way before we headed out we flipped through the cards to see what else was in the area/areas we were planning on going. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I agree I think it is a great bit of advice, especially for our first trip. I have never been to Vegas and already have a little list of places where I would like to go.

I think closer to the time we will be getting some sort of plan together....

Thanks very much! Will print one out and see how we get on...it does look like it's expired now, but if we're going to order 2 drinks anyway, can't hurt to try it. :)
doh - didn't even look at the expiry!! been meaning to post it for ages as well...

stoneman - you know it's a bad sign when your luggage exceeds the permitted weight before you've even put anything in it ;) can never have too many tags though! :D our bag looks so unique but a german fella still managed to pick it up off the conveyor last weekend... the missus took care of it though  she guards those GHD's like they're her children!

What date do you go Luci?

We go 30 April for 2 weeks. I ordered the currency to arrive on 12 April which was the best rate we could get to arrive in time.

i used them last year and they were fine and i have used them again this year getting a significantly better rate than i could have got anywhere else. yes, there is a risk but out of all the replies online from people that have used them i dont think there i have read one negative thing about them

I have been using CCE for years and have always recommended them, but that doesn't alter the fact that your money isn't secure or protected while you are waiting for the currency to arrive.

I usually get a mixture of cash and TC's from them.
