Fair enough... I run an internet business so I am used to spending $15-20 a day on internet in most hotels, so the resort fee for me is not really an extra, just a different name for internet accessThe Head Honcho (does very little work)0

For the majority of guests it is a fee enforced on them for no added benefits, you only have to read some of the threads on the american vegas forums0 -
SeptemberHave a fantastic time Matt you lucky things! Hopefully you'll get the seats sorted0

As others have said, it's the fact you can't avoid it. I agree it's probably well worth it for you, but I don't really use the internet or gym whilst on holiday, yet I still have to pay.
I'll say it again, it's just another way of advertising rooms cheaper than they are actually going to cost.0 -

I have stayed at umpteen hotels in Vegas and have never paid more than $15/day for internet access. Which hotel charges $20?0 -

Shame my girlfriend and my seats are 8 rows apart and the online check in shows all other seats as full
did you select seats before today? You can normally do so and it helps to ensure that you get seated together - maybe go into your flight on Virgin's website for the return and see if you can select seats together now? Regardless, have a nice trip!Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

AprilI agree that if you use the in-room internet daily or close to a resort fee wouldn't be a worry...but I can understand for those who don't, it sucks to have to pay for something they won't use. I'm glad we like Harrah's properties so so far can avoid resort fees. Especially as I've read elsewhere that MGM properties still make you pay the resort fee if your room is comped.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

AprilAnyone able to offer any comments/reviews on the Blue Man Group at Venetian? Found tickets for a reasonable price for the late showings so considering this an option, providing it's not complete rubbish?
