Wow!
Another wedding happening in Vegas!!
CONGRATS!
I'm afraid that I cant be much use on the tuxedo front though. We are getting wed in Vegas in July and my husband to be is hiring a suit from Moss Bros here and taking it with us. Its costing £140 for the two week hire, but we have weighed it up and want to avoid the stress of having to find something last minute over there.
Good Luck in your search!
PS - We will be staying at the Orleans too for 9 nights (after 5 night at Encore). We love the Orleans - have you stayed there before? Where are you having your ceremony?
Steff;)
Hey thanks for the feedback - we're getting married at the Graceland Chapel : )
not stayed at the Orleans but i've heard it's great - i've sent them a message to see if they reccommend anything nearby.. will feedback any reply
cheers !0 -

Ive only ever flown Upper on Virgin, but in June will be flying out in PE then back in economy, if anyone is going to find a fault with them it will be me.
I'm a very spoilt flyer as all my long haul is mainly work related and is always business class paid by the client. Holidays are another matter when its coming out of my own pocket! I whinged like hell on our flight to Jamaica on First Choice a few months back, and Im flying economy to Cape Town a couple of days after slumming it in economy back from vegas so will be able to compare and contrast the service that Virgin are offering up on the Vegas route.0 -
SeptemberI'm not lucky enough to have flown upper class anywhere so don't have the luxury of being able to compare .....must be nice to fly in comfort especially if it's something you have to do frequently
I'm afraid it's economy for us or not go as we would never be able to afford the sort of prices they charge for premium....
As I say compared to the european flights Virgin are luxury for us:hello: LORRAINE :hello:0 -

Business class is great on the way home after a knackering stint working away where i can lie down on a flat seat/bed and fall asleep for 8 hours +. But, if you look at the cost (my last trip back from Rwanda was over £3000 return) the luxury of some extra space, a decent meal and some quality sleep instead of 'airplane dozing' it really isnt worth that kinda money.0 -
JulyHello all,
You may have read my posts recently about the low prices on Atlaschoice for the Encore for dates in June/July?
Well, to put my mind at ease, I emailed Atlaschoice Customer Services to confirm that all taxes, local costs and resort fees were included in my low price of £425 for 5 nights (Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun - £85 pn average).
I received the following response:-
Dear Madam,
You have contacted us asking whether the prices are inclusive of taxes.
I have received a confirmation from the supplier, as per attachment below, stating that the room and tax is included in the rate and that the hotel does not have a resort fee.
If you have any further questions regarding your booking please get back in contact.
Kind Regards,
Cecilia Ostlund

Hi there
Hope all is well,
The room and tax is included in the rate and the hotel does not have a resort fee.

It looks like Atlaschoice act as an agent with another US based agent called hotelbeds. I have had a quick look at their website, but you have to have a user name and be part of a company to access it!!
Hope this helps others who were considering using Atlaschoice.

Have you had one of the seats with no padding yet? or have you had a seat without IFE, have they run out of food or alchohol before they get to you (I dont drink on planes soo that doesnt bother me) All things that are very real on the gatwick/Vegas flight
I do think I have a bony bum thoigh as my wife doesnt complain like I do..0 -

We flew back to Heathrow from LA last year and it was a newer plane (with a far more complicated IFE system that, TBH, I struggled with) but it really didn't make any difference to our enjoyment, or not, of the flight.
The IFE on the LA flight is fantastic, you are able to watch any film when you want and pause/rewind etc0 -

October , NovemberHi,
I'm off to Vegas in October for my hubbys 30th. I've found a zip-lining centre outside of vegas, and think he'd love to do this on his b'day. has anyone else done this out there? And any recommendations as to when to book? Online its $149 each, do you think/know if it'd be cheaper once out there?0 -
hi

i'm going to hire a tuxedo for the wedding - does anyone have reccomendations (i'll be staying in the orleans hotel) or suggestions on the best way to go about this...? i'm guessing there are plenty of places to hire one (and checked a few out on google) but would be good if anyone has any advice...
cheers !
