JulyHi Steff
No, can't change the dates as mum and dad have stuff that has been planned for nearly a year and I wouldn't ask them to change it, plus OH won't be able to get the time off work later:(
I'll be watching everyone's progress on here though for if/when we do decide to try it again, so make sure you keep the updates coming so I can live vicariously! We'd settled on the Wynn package you have gone for so I'd love to hear how it was:)

Morning Lexis!
Really sorry to hear your plans have been cancelled for now. Nice to see that you are looking on the bright side - shows much strength of character.
I will definately keep the updates coming and let you know how we get on over there.

JulyFurther info from the Wynn RE Rev Henney Story!
Dear Valued Guest,
Thank you again for your email communicating your concerns over the recent News of the World article. I am certain that this has been a frustrating and emotional experience for you as well as your family and friends.
The County prepared a Press Release which I have attached to this email for your reference. I also have provided you with a copy of a news article posted this week on one of our local news stations which again clarifies (from independent sources) the legitimacy of your wedding as well as Reverend Henney’s process moving forward.
Being that we have provided all current documentation available to warrant your legal status; I do hope this helps to resolve any remaining concerns you may have over the validity and legality of your marriage. Any further questions would be best directed to the County.
We truly wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
Respectfully,
Jacqueline

Reverend who performs weddings at the Wynn loses his license
Updated: March 8, 2010 10:32 PM PST
A reverend who has been performing weddings at the Wynn for years has lost his license. Mose Henney has lost his church affiliation in Las Vegas, so his license has been revoked.
The county is not sure when he lost his affiliation, but says newlyweds don't need to worry. All marriages performed by Henney are still legitimate.
Henney has been performing ceremonies at the Wynn since 2005 and has applied for a new license.:hello:My name is Steff and I am a Vegas Addict :j0 -

Also ditto re taking a cushion, we were second from the last row, hubby had aisle seat but it was an endurance contest. I had a squishy pillow from Home Bargains, kinds of squishy's into any shape, very soft, managed to sleep with it on the way back.
Ditto the food option too, I was the last to be served and was presented with some unidentifiable 'veggie'option ...I left it, the cabin staff were scrabbling around to find me something to eat I suppose I was lucky to have that.
Myself and hubby watched a Vegas themed programme last night, we're being **sigh** sensible this year and getting necessary work done to the house. However hubby said 'get the computer'....'why' I asked....he replied 'sod the house, lets book Vegas again'....
Now the question is...should I take him seriously, I have Tesco vouchers so could do the flight, plus some of these deals are amazing, I may have to do some in investigating.;)DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Marchsarahlasvegas wrote: »Also - quick Flamingo hotel question - do the Go Deluxe rooms have fridges in them? I cant see that they have from their website - just wondered if anyone here has stayed in them. Not sure whether to upgrade or not, but i love having a fridge for cold diet coke/water
Yes the last 2 stays at the Flamingo August and December my Go rooms both had fridges.... even without the fridge I definitely think they are worth the extra. I have a deluxe room booked later this month and will almost certainly upgrade on arrival (the upgrade cost was silly on a comp offer so I decided to wait)
EDIT I see some people disagree with me about the Flamingo fridgesMy last two stays we were upgraded from Go to Go with view (no charge- no $20 trick) so I guess it's possible it might only be the view rooms as I don't remember either way if our non view Go had one last Easter..........
When are you going-if it's after 30/3 let me know and I'll check it out for you whilst I'm there.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

JulyWOW - I know they say you should NEVER re-check once booked?
WELL - I have just relooked at the price of our dates at the Encore on Atlaschoice and the price is now £655 for exactly the same dates!!
Do you think I should be worried given that on Tuesday night I paid £425 as above....?
Steff
Interesting - the price for the Encore for our dates with Atlaschoice has now gone back down to £420 for the same dates - I pity anyone who happened to book with them during the £655 price!:hello:My name is Steff and I am a Vegas Addict :j0 -
I'm flying with Virgin from Gatwick to Vegas in May and have read all the report about how the planes are looking old and tired now. I was wondering if anyone knew which seats are the best to try and get? I think mine have been reserved as 29 A an B, cant work out if these are good or should I try and change
We've flown on Virgin out of Gatwick several times to both Orlando and LV (same planes used on both routes) I know there are regular complaints on here about these older planes but TBH we've not had a problem. I'd use them again.
We flew back to Heathrow from LA last year and it was a newer plane (with a far more complicated IFE system that, TBH, I struggled with) but it really didn't make any difference to our enjoyment, or not, of the flight.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

Wow!
Another wedding happening in Vegas!!
CONGRATS!
I'm afraid that I cant be much use on the tuxedo front though. We are getting wed in Vegas in July and my husband to be is hiring a suit from Moss Bros here and taking it with us. Its costing £140 for the two week hire, but we have weighed it up and want to avoid the stress of having to find something last minute over there.
Good Luck in your search!
PS - We will be staying at the Orleans too for 9 nights (after 5 night at Encore). We love the Orleans - have you stayed there before? Where are you having your ceremony?

Totally agree...I don't see anything wrong with them....bearing in mind we travel about 4 times a year and our other 3 flights are to European destinations....the Virgin flight is far far better than any Thomas Cook/THomsons/BMI Baby/First Choice flight:hello: LORRAINE :hello:0
