I just guess some are lucky and others unfortunately get lager louted Brits on.

I'm not saying it happens on every flight-I'm saying it happened on ONE of mine (and as I fly at least 3 times a year there- arguably the odds of it happening to me were greater than the once a year traveller) and that one experience was enough to make me ensure it was never going to happen to me again if I could help it. The FAs had no control and if there had been an emergency these twits would have posed a huge hazard to the other passengers .

We're thinking about moving mid-trip for the first time and I'd already figured we would not do much unpacking - or only enough for the time we'll be there...that should help a bit...but we would be moving on a Sunday which I'd already considered might be an issue. Now with your comments part of me wonders if moving on a Sunday is NOT the best way to try moving for the first time. :)[/QUOT

Yeah it was a pain checking in at the Wynn with the majority of people checking out but then again the check in area at the Wynn is quite a small area compared to MGM,Bellagio etc and wasn't very well managed. The staff also seemed to be very slow dealing with people. But saying all this negative stuff it still didn't spoil our time there and we would stay there again.

    Hi

Has anyone booked the above holiday with Travelbag please?

They are advertising 3nt Marriott Downtown NY, 4 nts Luxor hotel, Las Vegas with Delta flights from £689 between 4 Feb - 18 March but not able to cost it online.

Would like to try both of these locations so this would be fab but wondering what the weather be like in March?

Hey guys, just after a bit of advice please.
Got flights and airport parking/hotel booked for a trip to Vegas in June, but we arent sure where to stay.

Looking for a good pool, and keep seeing people recommend the Flamingo. If we were to book a Go room, is the hotel alright? Dont want to book somewhere with a good pool but its actually a shoddy hotel. Go rooms look alright on the website!

    Cheers.

Kinda Vegas related, but the Mayweather v Pacquiao scheduled for March 13th has been postponed due to the 2 parties not agreeing on specific clauses in the contract regarding drug testing

I've never stayed at the Flamingo, but I personally have found that you can get rooms at the Mirage, TI, MGM and sometimes even Mandalay Bay for around the same price as a Go Room at the Flamingo. It's true that the Flamingo has a great location, but I personally find that side of the strip, after Bally's up until The Venetian to be a bit undesirable, especially at night. It gets full of those Mexican's flicking !!!!!! & prostitute cards at you, which becomes very annoying. The Go rooms look nice, but personally I would say stay in a standard room at one of the nicer hotels, as you say the Flamingo, IMO, is kind of a shoddy hotel.

I was in Vegas last Easter, so I think it was the end of March, the weather was okay. We had rain a couple of times, but one glorious day! It's not blistering heat like you experience in the Summer, but I tended to wear linen trousers and a light top during the day, so it wasn't too chilly! In the sun it was lovely, though.
