MarchI don't think it would be a massive struggle with choosing 3 different hotels personally. We are there for 7 nights so in my thinking we could spend the first two nights say at the Bellagio, then move onto PH for three nights and then stay at MGM for our final two nights,
You might want to reverse the order leaving the nicest hotel-The Bellagio til last as otherwise it feels like a big drop.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

SeptemberBut Vegas is the party capital of America. Surely there is loads of Batchelor parties which board in other US cities? Meaning in direct flights would be more common?
Its all down to previous experience. I have been to Vegas a fair few times and have never had a stag party on a flight. I did have Richard Branson on one though.
Not once on the 7 or so internal flights to Vegas have I had to cope with groups of drunken idiots staggering around demanding more Stella like they are in the local Wetherspoons and having the captain having to turn the seat belt sign on as the cabin crew can't get to sit them down. I can't think of anything worse than to endure 11 hours of that.
We once landed in Vegas on an internal flight and people cheered when the plane touched down. That was as rowdy as it got.0 -
Junewe stayed at 3 hotels last year:
5 nights in a pyramid spa suite at the luxor
6 nights in v suite at thehotel mandalay bay
4 nights in a standard room at new york new york,
we didnt move too far to be fair but didnt find it a hassle and we didnt spend too long at check in either. if i was there for just 7 nights thought id maybe think differently and stay in 1 place or maybe 2 depending on the deals available0 -

You don't hear of other carriers "pretending" to have run out of booze halfway through the flight and penalizing the whole flight on a regular basis .
They dont pretend to have run out, the problem being that the bar is not re-stocked on the turnaround at Vegas, so enough drink needs to be kept back for the return flight. Obviously on a flight with lots of stag groups onboard, the bar often gets closed early on the outward journey.0 -
AprilDowsy - I totally understand the appeal of staying in 3 x seperate hotels and was thinking about doing something similar on my next trip which is why i was asking the question. Doesn't it tie you having to check out of one hotel, collect baggage etc and take it to the next and check in. Then having to unpack and pack again to check out/ check in etc?
How do you do it?
I just don't want to waste time, but would like to stay in different hotels.
Yeah I do understand what your saying, the slight inconvenience is that checkout is usually at 12 and check in is 3 but we find you can store your luggage in the baggage room and do what you want for a few hours. Sometimes you can get an earlier check in if its not a busy time of year. TBH we normally just live out of our cases and don't really spend time packing/unpacking. Another point from past experience is that a lot of people check out on a Sunday after a weekend break so we did spend a while waiting to check in to the Wynn last year on a Sunday, perhaps avoid this.0 -

Perhaps they need to just stop serving alcohol. There is no reason for anyone to get so drunk before they even reach Vegas!0 -

Sorry but they do. It's no accident of poor stock- it's done in the hope the drunks will fall asleep.
That's not assumption on my part it's what I've been told by crew who fly the route.....the "excuse" of stock is what they tell the passengers who complain.totallybored wrote: »Perhaps they need to just stop serving alcohol. I haven't experienced a rowdy Virgin flight in all of those i have been on.
I just guess some are lucky and others unfortunately get lager louted Brits on.0 -

... any thoughts?
I've booked and I arrive the day before you. I thought it was good enough offer for this early, but I might cancel if/when something better comes along. You can cancel with 48 hours notice and no fee, so nothing to lose really..... Might pass you in the casino - lolLove MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -

We're thinking about moving mid-trip for the first time and I'd already figured we would not do much unpacking - or only enough for the time we'll be there...that should help a bit...but we would be moving on a Sunday which I'd already considered might be an issue. Now with your comments part of me wonders if moving on a Sunday is NOT the best way to try moving for the first time.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
