Chuffed to bits with Lloyds TSB myself.
Friendly, fast, professional service in branch and over the phone, inland call centre, open late, just seem to do everything right!Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

With HSBC, wouldn't switch
Have been with Natwest, wouldn't go back if you paid me! Never found anything so complicated in my life as their ideas!Bump due 22nd September0 -
Been happy for the most part with Halifax, Lloyds TSB annoys me, A&L so far so bad.Total debt at lightbulb moment (Jan 2010): £23410
Target for Dec 2011: £17000
Lloyds - Early Jan: £[STRIKE]2040[/STRIKE] Feb: £[STRIKE]2050[/STRIKE] Mar: £0
Other Lloyds @ highest: £9800 Feb: £9800
Current debt: £234200 -
I'm with Nat West and really happy with their service, both online and in the bank itself.
Never had a single problem with them, and the branch staff I use are really helpful and efficient.
LinYou can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0 -
Natwest - Ok, but don't use acc. much
Barclays - Told my parents how much I had in my account, failed on data protection
Alliance - Rubbish sort code/ acc no. system, slow transfers in and out
Halifax - Not bad so far, I get £20 each month from my reward savers
Lloyds - Messed up my credit card application, didn;t apply 0% on purchases, then told me to forward them my statements each month to get refund
HSBC - had appt. with "manager" very hard sell about life protection and income protection, made me feel sick afterwards. closest branch to me doesn't have counter service, only lots of machines
NW - rubbish interest rates, often long queue in branch, doesn't accept faster payments
Abbey - never any people to deal with your query. Messed me about a while back when I closed my 6% current account then opened a new one0 -

I bank with Abbey and Halfiax. Use online banking a majority of the time but when I have had to go to a branch I've alway been treated really well, great service and very polite staff. I guess I'm lucky where I live!!2013 wins: Persil Bunny0

NW - Dropped interest on Flex and ESave -so moved to A&L
A&L - All good so far!0 -
I've been with all the high street banks apart from Halifax (and i'm only 19
).
Barclays - Slow service in branch. Terrible telephone banking. Annoying internet banking but they do offer some good features such as approved overdrafts without credit checks and their monthly saver is a good account.
Abbey/Santander - Gave me an Electron and refused to give me a visa debit. Staff weren't too bad in branch, but a lot of waiting around. Old machines in my local branch.
Lloyds - Great customer service, great accounts, however internet banking is a little basic and I had a problem with 'markers' being put on my account.
Natwest - Never had much problems, but not really used the account.
Alliance and Leicester - Rubbish internet banking, however account was opened very quickly without any need for ID. Got £50 for opening the account via Quidco. Customer service seemed ok.
HSBC - Great customer service and useful automated machines in branch. Rubbish interest rates.
First Direct - Great customer service. Interest rated are pretty crumby at the moment, but I am staying with them as they are far ahead of all the other banks I've been with.
I now only have accounts with First Direct (primary) and HSBC (secondary).0
