Of course I agree, I can't believe anyone would do that!
No more houses so far, car failed on 5 things bit most shouldn't be too bad to fix, luckily FIL is a retired mechanic and can sort most things, though the emissions thing he can't do unfortunately.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Sorry to hear about MOT and house ragz, and yes it is very odd to climb over a neighbours fence money saving diva.
Been mega busy here today DH has got tummy bug and DS6 still has pox, Meaning I did school runs and picked up the bits for party bags before racing back to collect DD4 from nursery, raced home and changed DD for party before taking DD to party and hosting solo. Then racing back to collect eldes two from school, backk to house to feed kids and back out to school with DD15 thirty minutes later for meeting about exams. Finally home at 9.00pm to help Ds with homework, walk dog feed all animals and eat!! So absolutely nothing has happened in the house today its a tip!!0 -
Hi all not been around for a long time!!!!!
I was in amd out of hospital with a some complications of pregnancy and 5 failed atempts of induction!!! a shocking labour and a poorly baby.
now have a 5 week old baby boy and a house that is a tip!!
so trying to get a routine and failing! gonna try and get into gear slowly and tidy my house ( put the clothes away do some washing )
great to be back and seeing some old names and new ones.0 -
Ragz - I feel your pain on the car thing - hate the expense that always seems to follow the MOT - our car needed £200 worth of work done in order to pass it this year. We're hoping we can nurse it through one more year though.
jimjams mommy - welcome back! I've been gone awhile too, but hopefully am on the track to being normal again. LOL Congrats on the new little one!MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -
Jimjamsmommy - great to see you back, sorry to hear labour wasn't good and hope little one's better now. Take it slow and steady with the house, it's amazing how quickly it'll get back to normal.
Triggles - Good to see you're still here, how's things?
Everyone's assuring me the car things are mostly minor so I will try not to stress about it. Am trying very very hard not to stress about the house thing...June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Thank you to everyone for your advice re becoming a stay at home mum. I would really love to try it and I'm going to give it some serious consideration. I'm off to inspect my outgoings etc so I can work out how do-able its going to be.
Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post0 -

sillybillyme - did the gas man turn up ok?
Ragz - hope car is ok. Dont worry about the house, something will come along.
Jenkins3563 - become a SAHM .... you will not regret it!
I have just ran around the house (well as quick as possible at 29 wks preggers :rotfl:) and tidied up and cleaned all downstairs. Need to clean bathroom tomorrow, hoover upstairs, food shopping tomorrow morning and then cook sunday lunch for my parents and my nan visiting. i will then clean kitchen up after and then put my feet up.
I have got to the point now where I can't really bend in the middle!! How am I gunna do housework until the baby comes??SAHM Mummy tods (born Oct 2007) and dd (born June 2010)0 -
Hi everyone, I know I'm a bit late but would love to join this thread! I'm a SAHM to two boys, my eldest is nearly 2 and the little one is nearly 4 months. I used to be super organised and knew what was happening with everything then I had kids and everything's gone out of the window!! It's got to the point where everything is tidyish but I know that I'm just doing the bare minimum to get by so shove things in drawers etc. so when I was looking for my marriage certificate and my sons' birth certificates last week it took me hours to find them whereas before they would have been in the proper place!
I'm an Army wife so hubby isn't always here and tends to work strange hours when he is so sometimes it is hard to get into a proper routine! Also means that we're moving every 3-4 years so I'm kinda feeling that we need to get properly organised so we're not keeping !!!! (incase we need it one day) which just ends up cluttering the house and travelling the country with us!
I find some days harder than others, today for example I had the washing done and hanging out, hoovered and both boys dressed by 9am but other days I have no get up and go and we can all still be in our jimjams at lunchtime! I'm not sure if I have PND, don't think I have but I do feel down somedays and let things get on top of me so I feel that getting organised will help with this too!
I hate to do housework at the weekends as hubby isn't at work so we like to spend time as a family together and hey if he gets weekends off from work why shouldn't I!
Anyway, that's enough wittering from me, have to go and feed the milk monster! Will be back on later to read through the thread properly!Proud wife to a soldier and mummy to two gorgeous boysDealing with our Debt Barclaycard £2022.98 RBS £1249.86 Next £183.03September Groceries £120/£102.05:( September Packed Lunches 22/6Sealed Pot Challenge #9940
