Hi, Sorry not posted for a while. Had a child free day today so blitzed the house!! YAY! I didn't get as much done as I thought but the house is clean and tidy so I am happy. I tried not to over do it cos I now get serious bump ache when I lean over doing housework. I am getting bigger and bigger and feel huge (although everyone keeps saying how small and neat my bump is).
I got a few other jobs done. I picked up a toy starage unit I ordered from Next and put it together. I sorted out some toys to go in it - and put some toys in ds bedroom so now about half in bedroom, half in living room! yay!
I also went and picked up my bounty pack and my emmas diary packs - loads of freebies
Last week sorted car mot, insurance, saved loads when sorting out home insurance - so overall feeling pleased with myself.
I think I need to think about sorting out baby stuff now. I have boxes of clothes out. I need to wash them. Hoping the spring weather stays so I can hang it out during the next week or so. I should also think about what I need to get for my hospital bag. I didn't have a bag packed when I went into labour with ds because I went into labour at 37 weeks. I want to be more prepared this time.SAHM Mummy tods (born Oct 2007) and dd (born June 2010)0 -
MoneysavingDiva - Sounds like your 'nesting' is going well! Definitely get that hospital bag ready in time (though maybe not quite yet lol!), I didn't have one with DS1 as planned a home birth so in the mad rush to hospital all I brought was baby stuff... having a bath with nothing to put back on and using a tiny hospital towel was not fun!)
I've got to MOT my car this week (never done one before so am very nervous, especially as DH doesn't think it will pass...)
Just me and baby this morning so if she lets me put her down I will need to
Sort laundry out
Vacuum whole house
Roast a chicken and prep veg
Wash living room windows

Hi, Today have I have done two lots of washing and hung it outside on the line. My first load is almost dry already! :j I am loving this spring weather! It makes everything so much easier.
Ds was ill yesterday and is not right today so I think he will have a long nap. I think I will put my feet up a bit today (having lunch at the mo)but
I need to:
Clean inside of the carDS vomited in it yesterday while out with dh
He cleaned it out at a supermarket the best he could but I am yet to go and look what the damage is
(but from the look of the clothes and stuff I had to wash already I am not looking forward to it) I can't do it yet cos next door have builders going in and out and I don't fancy cleaning out a sicky car in front of them.
I need to think about what to put in my hospital bag and think what bag to take.
Make meatballs for tea.
Bring washing in. Do more washing.

Have a house to look at tomorrow! One I spotted weeks ago but it had already gone, saw it listed today on the agent's site and the LET symbol had gone so I called up and it's available again. Looks perfect so fingers crossed!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500
