My youngest daughter used to manage to wee on me somehow anyway and as for projectile poo!!! _pale_ lol. I've been told to lay tissue over little man as I undo his nappy to prevent the hose pipe round the room effect, does that work? A friend of mine had a few issues with her bubba boy peeing up over the waist band of his nappy, she couldn't figure out where the wet patches on his tummy where coming from to start with! :rotfl:

On the organisation front we've been hit by the snow overnight, the schools are closed and hubby is working from home so I don't know what I'm going to get done today. Does building snowmen count as getting organised?

Very important that you make sure that he is "pointing down" before you close up the nappy. DH forgot to do this once and to say DS was soaking is an understatement!!

    Happy snowman building!!

And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end

When I was pregnant I was warned about boys managing to pee everywhere 'helicopter' pee and the like, but, even when he pees with his nappy off it doesn't go everywhere
OH reckons its because his wee man is biggish and he said and I quote
'he doesn't get that from his Dad' :rotfl::rotfl:

And now that I've lowered the tone suitably I'll get my coat.......

DS1 peed a lot when the air hit his bum at nappy changing when he was tiny, first time the day after he was born, still in hospital getting changed ready for visitors! He had to be bathed before any visitors got him! lol

DS2 has only every really done it once to DH. DS1 used to find it hysterical when DS2 would poo when you were in the middle of changing him! Not sure why tho, must be a boy thing!

Re ordered my shop for tomorrow but not holding my breath. We need Foooooooooood! Shop was £175 which provides enough for 2 weeks meals etc (just have to top up in second week with fresh stuff) - also includes nappies and baby milk. It's a bit less then usual as we have loads of sweet stuff and booze left over from xmas. Not that I've been drinking it. Used to be a glass of wine a night kinda gal but have just gone off it for some reason - not sure why but its very MSE. Though I had a dinner party b4 and my auntie also bought me a case of wine for xmas so i am very well stocked up!

Just got the credit card bill :( so new desk etc may have to wait. Dont know why I'm surprised as obv I spent the money but boooo to it still. It;s my eldests fault as he told santa that h wanted a specific toy and didnt mind if he got nothing else only that toy as mummy has told him its expensive (£100 and we werent going to buy him it) - so being a big softie I had to get that for him and it blew the xmas budget as then I had to get his brother something similar. Kids eh!

    Afternoon ladies and gentleman!

Well the snow came down last night while I was at the cinema (I saw Nine, not sure about it), DS is at his dad's 12 miles away and school is closed so I am having some unexpected "me-time". I am watching 60 minute makeover which isn't exactly productive! Lol.

On a more positive note I went to my first yoga class for about 8 years and so I feel about a foot taller now!

    So today's to do list:
    - [STRIKE]go to yoga[/STRIKE] :)
    - [STRIKE]put washing on[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]put dry washing away and hang wet washing up[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]15 minutes looking for bills and filing them[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]put the bins out[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]clean out the fridge, throw old food away and give it a wipe[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Clean cabinet doors in kitchen[/STRIKE]
    - Evening washing up
    - [STRIKE]print out social stories for son and put them in a file[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]dismantle the christmas tree and put away,[/STRIKE] though I think I threw the box out! Oops.
    - [STRIKE]Email OU with past addresses[/STRIKE]

Hope everyone is safe and warm!

    xx

    Wednesday

Washing - fold and put away have folded over half of it!
[STRIKE]Wash bedding and/or curtains[/STRIKE] have put curtains in WM but they say dry clean only so may not be a good idea, but they are rather mouldy so needed to be done
Clear cupboard under sink (if feeling very brave)
    Clear top of bookcase
    [STRIKE]
    Wash up
    S&S kitchen
    [/STRIKE]
Get OH to take bins out I'll let him off, the snow is rather thick out there!

[STRIKE]Make chicken stock[/STRIKE] done and made into soup
    [STRIKE]
    Do something with leftover chicken...
[/STRIKE]made a nice big chicken and veg pie

DS1 still rather snotty and now his nose is really sore from wiping it so he's not very happy. Sky is out due to weather so no cbeebies to keep them occupied!

I am feeling sooo big and uncomfortable but kind of hoping baby doesn't come early now as no midwives would be able to get down my street at them moment!

I meal planned last night (till fri 15th) and did an online shop for delivery Friday. £146! £50 was cigarettes, £30 was nappies (for 2), wipes, baby food (cereal, some jars for spares, fruit pots), baby milk, so only £60 on food for 7 dinners, treats and lunches.

How much?! How long's that for? Thankfully my OH smokes tobacco and we get it a few times a year from abroad so although it's a big expense at the time it works out only costing us about £10 a week in the long run. He said he'd quit when he's 30 but 30 happened last year and no sign yet lol
June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

  • back to the baby boys and pointing bits correctly!, my son is 2.5 and because i always talked to him before he could speak, eeven now when i change him or he goes on potty he says put my willy down mummy! the things they pick up on!!!

My sisters are still teenagers and it's those years Im dreading most I think, but really I'm just worried she'll get left out with 2 older brothers, especially as they are only 13 months apart so very close so I'm used to them keeping each other occupied. Really don't want to have to have ANOTHER baby to keep this one company!

I'm sure she will have lots of friends to negate the lack of a sibling her age. Some children prefer siblings their age, some prefer being the centre of attention.

You may want another one, don't count it out ;)
