Hmm, yeah you do have to be careful around those delicate boy bits;)

Well I have been reading through and I think I need to start putting up a weekly list of 'additional' jobs things like sorting/bathroom/bleaching sink/getting bedding washed & dried.......

    So this weeks list is
    1, [STRIKE]Bleach sink and kitchen worktops.[/STRIKE]
2, [STRIKE]put rest of boxes, kids school work, decs in attic.[/STRIKE]
3, Plaster around doorway, finish off woodwork jobs on frame.
    4, Clean Oven.
    5, [STRIKE]attach firegaurd to wall 'securely'[/STRIKE].
    6, [STRIKE]get all bedding washed and dried.[/STRIKE]
7, thorough clean of bathroom inc shower cubicle.
    8, Scrub kitchen floor.

I will check back and tick off the jobs that have been done, you are all very motivational.....

Well I am managing to get through the list, Ideally I want it finished by thomorrow so I can just do the usual over the weekend. I will go and do the bathroom now I think, while ds3 napping. then I am stuck because before I do the oven or the kitchen floor, I NEED to do the plastering (and finish the door frame) as the kitchen is full of tools and stuff still.
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Hi; can I join in too please? I have two DSs (7 and 5) and am due to go on to Maternity Leave in May when DS3 is due! Bit worried about being so outnumbered by men!

Anyway, this is what I have done today:

cleaned kitchen, bleached down surfaces and cleaned dining room table
sorted out all washing into ironing piles for later
    off to hoover downstairs now
    fresh loaf in Breadmaker

    Morning all :j

Also its my birthday today :T So i am going to do some jobs this morning then the rest of the day lounging around watching films with the kids and just chilling :D

    Happy birthday! :D

    Morning all,

DS is still stranded with his dad. It's horrible being away from him but I will try and enjoy my free time.

    Today I will:
    - [STRIKE]put washing on[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]put dry clothes away and hang wet clothes up[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]afternoon washing up[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]do facepack[/STRIKE] and nailsone new habit at a time
    - [STRIKE]clear out crockery cupboards and throw anything away that I don't want/need[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]spend 15 minutes organising DS's bedroom as it's a state and full of toys from when he was 2[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]text my friend and let her know I can't visit her in hosipital[/STRIKE] :(
    - evening washing up I really struggle with this one, there's no heating in the kitchen or hall so it's freezing out there
    - [STRIKE]put at least one thing on Freecycle[/STRIKE] - ramekins!

Best mate came round this morning so I didn't get as much done as I intended. She'd walked her two youngest to Nursery as it was open but took her an hour! Her and eldest were very wet and cold by the time they got here.

Cupboard under the sink revealed 2 irons, odd that I own two and yet don't iron! So one is being binned, would ferecycle it but it's quite knackered.

Also revealed a total of over 30 energy saving lightbulbs! They last about 10 years so no idea what to do with them! OH has put 8 up but still have a bag full!

  • Morning everyone - Hope everyone ok in this weather - we're still snowed in but managing with supplies - don't think we're going to make dd's hospital appointment tommorow though....

Am feeling very out of sorts today - no energy or enthusiasm - anyone like to kick me up the bum to stop feeling sorry for myself - have cabin fever I think - have been inside since Sat afternoon.

Need to get on with my jobs and stop being grumpy old cow:-(

I am having one of THOSE days.. you know, where everything and anything that can go wrong seems to go horribly wrong. I seriously contemplated crawling back into bed and hiding under the duvet, but I suppose leaving both kids to my DH is kind of mean, especially since DS3 is teething and miserable, and DS2 is being a bit of a pill today.

I'm sure the cabin-fever is not helping, as it's another day that we can't go do the things we wanted to get done this week while DH is on holiday from work. *sigh* I think I'm going to have a tea and biscuit day today... and let things slide (not too much - washing up done as well as laundry and bottles). Just no extras done today.

I'm really doing rather well! Just feeding the small one then there are a few more things to do and I'll be able to settle down and do my work stuff while she sleeps.
