I dont have no plans today which is going to make it hard Ive got to kepp myself busy.
use the free time tomorow to to sort things out like the tax credits etc & i also agree with the above poster to make sure that the school knows the situation in reg to only you can pick him up
What is happening now with OH ? is he still being hostile & is he still in the house ?

If you phone your local college of further education, they may well be having January start courses. They will also have a connexions advisor who would be able to tell you required qualifications and routes into various careers.
Make sure you notify the school first thing in the morning of what has been going on and that no-one other than you should pick him up.0 -
I think on the women's aid web site they have a list of what you should do for in the event of having to get out of your situation quickly. I think it includes having a bag packed with change of clothes, toys & all important paper work - marriage, birth certificates, NI numbers etc - makes it easier if you have them & cheaper as you won't have to get copies which cost a fee. Have the bag stashed somewhere ie at a neighbours - just in case.

Hi everyone thanks for the messages,
My wireless said there was no connections yesterday so couldn't connect to the net. I have been really busy getting myself into a state.
My college doesn't start course till sept I have rang over 20 (not joking) preschools with nothing to offer, I tll them I'm willing to train but it's not good enough, I have been to boots/sainsburys/b&q/m&s/mothercare who have told me I have to apply for jobs online and did look through every job and there was nothing, I rang asda and tesco who said to get an application form so I'm going tomorrow...I have rang agency about cleaning work some have taken my details I have also rang care agencies who want a CV so I asked the job centre for help in this and they gave me the number for a workshop that do this and they told me they run CV writing group at 3pm I told her it's really not good for me as I get my son from school urghhhhh...I AM TRYING SO HARD and getting nowhere I have checked the net for cleaning jobs I have made an application for income support but because JSA is in appeal they cant process it right now...
I'm on a major low with work nobody wants to give me school hours as for the other half I haven't seen him for a few days all his stuff is here though.
My main concern is getting a job atm for me and my son hopefully I'll have luck with Asda or Tesco ?
Does anyone have any advice on how long an appeal will take with jsa ?
Or advice on jobs ? I made a thread in the employment section and people started arguing on it! and it went really off subject.
Thanks again Lisa0 -
