If it isn't simple items like books or CDs it won;t work even if someone else tries , but if you want to pm me I'll give it a go.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Stupid question, but when did Amazon get rid of the 60 day expiry date on non-pro listings?0

Jesa Rose, I am so sorry I clicked on edit your post rather than quote. I'm really sorry as it looks like I have altered something and i didn't.
my actual response is :
It's nearly dead here, I am getting to the stage of having to consider whether or not to cull most of my books and give up my pro merchant account. Once the postage goes up again next April (and I am sure it will) I can't see how I can carry on.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I should say this very quietly in case I jinx the selling fairy but my sales have been surprisingly good lately. Not anything high value and some has been listed for over 3 years and stuff I thought I'd never get rid off, so thats good. But I haven't listed anything new for quite a while and that usually means sales grind to a halt so I'm mystified. I'm also selling books where there are far cheaper ones listed ie £5+ cheaper in some cases!!!
What I am lacking though is feedback, am down to one again for 30 days. I had the same a while back then a burst of several feedback on the same day. Of course the problem with that is that they all then 'disappear' on the same day.
GM sales have also been trickling in slowly so thats good too :T0 -
I have a quick question please.
I've just ahd an email saying I have my first Amazon book sale!! Yippee for me, but what are the regs on packaging? My new jiffy envelopes are hiding in the loft somewhere and all I have downstairs are used (but still good - I'd use for ebay) jiffy bags and brown paper and bubble wrap. Obviously it would be easier for me to reuse an envelope, but is this frowned upon by Amazon??
ETA: just found the packaging instructions on Amazon - clean new paper and bubblewrap it is then.
It's only a game

Hi Mrs B well done on the sale - you'll be hooked now like the rest of us
. Some folk do use recycled packaging and make a point of mentioning it in their listings. As long as your item is well protected and looks fairly neat I don't think it matters too much. Posting within the two business days is the most important thing I reckon.

There are some items I sell whereby I only make a few pennies so with these I tend to use recycled bags with extra bubble wrap as padding but on most items I use new ones, as teapot2 says the most important thing is to send within 2 days.0

If only I had some sales so I needed to decide whether to use new or recyled packaging
