I don't own a non-stick pan and never find myself scrubbing and scouring the pan after cooking scrambled eggs. Some butter melted in the pan first and then a gentle heat is all that's required.0

I agree with those who say that the cooking temperature is the key. Not only does it help stop the eggs sticking to the pan (and therefore involves less waste
as well as less effort!) but it makes it much easier to get the perfect consistency however you like them done.
The same goes for porridge - either microwave it or cooking very slowly and gently.0 -

I do mine in the microwave in a glass jug - that way there is no sticking.
Its great as the boys can also "cook" their own breakfast that way, couple of minutes soak and into the dishwasher and I dont have to deal with the fallout of the pansFree/impartial debt advice: Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) | National Debtline | Find your local CAB0 -

Long time, no see, Churchie :A
The children cooked scrambled eggs in a Le Creuset (not non-stick) yesterday. They soaked the pan in water, and when we washed the pots at tea time, it came away really easily :T
I'll add this to the existing thread to give you more ideas.

To save time i fancy making scrambled eggs tonight and then put them in container in fridge overnight to eat early 7am next morning, is this safe to do or a bit dodgy as they are eggs after all

not sure to be honest ... perhaps whisking the eggs up in a mug/bowl and leaving them in the fridge, with a knob of butter in the pan you would cook them in ... then just cook them in the morning?? i often do scrambled eggs for my kids for brekkie ... doesnt take that long to be honest!!wading through the treacle of life!

Get them ready the night before and cook in the microwave. Takes about two minutes.0
