I find that if, once they are nearly scrambled, you take them off the heat and let them stand for about a minute, the moisture sort of unsticks them like magic!! Sounds mad but it's true!!! I don't like microwave eggs as mine always seem to have a funny taste... probably just me but I never like them as much.Jane

Neither could I. Infact, I still get burnt on egg but would sooner scrub the saucepan than have microwave scrambled egg. Add a knob of butter to the scrambled egg and remove from the heat while still fairly 'sloppy' and allow to sit for a minute or two as it will continue to cookIt's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.:kisses3:0 -
I never liked microwave eggs and we don't have a microwave any more.
So for anyone doing it the laborious way, try this. If you beat them well before cooking, cook them slowly and stir constantly, they'll be really fluffy and not stick as much.
However, they DO still stick and immediate action is required! LOL As soon as the pan is empty, stick some washing up liquid in it and fill with cold water. Give it a very brief swirl round with the back of a kitchen sponge and this will immediately take off most of it. Leave it soaking in cold water so your eggs aren't getting cold while you wash the pan. It'll come off easily.
But it has to be cold water. Porridge and milk are a doddle that way too.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
I always make my scrambled eggs in the microwave, beat the eggs and milk together in a jug and season, if desired chop up some fresh tomatoe or chop up some cooked ham and microwave. I normally take them out a couple of times and check consistency and stir - scrumdiddlyumptious.:j0

I put butter in my non stick pan and cook them slowly, stirring all the time. If you have it on a very high heat all the time it will stick and burn.
Start with a high heat, then turn down to low.
Microwave eggs, I do for a minute at a time and chop it, then redo for 30 seconds until just done. We have an 800 watt microwave. It is trial and error until you get them how you like.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

If you can afford it, get a Circulon 2 pan to cook it in. I got a set of these pans from Makro quite cheap and they are quite simply brilliant, nothing sticks to them ever! Scramble simply wipes off with a cloth! Infact I saw a demo for a similar pan at the three counties show ground. The demonstrator put one over a flame while he talked us through it. He then cracked an egg into the pan and just left it there. It cooked, dried up, curled up and eventually lifted away from the pan surface. Amazing! Then he did the same thing with sugar, it burnt and everything. He then tipped it out and wiped the residue away. Clean as a whistle! He'd been doing it all day too!
If you watch satdee kitchen, they use these pans on that.SIMPLE SIMON - Met a pie man going to the fair. Said Simple Simon to the pie man, "What have you got there?" Said the pie man unto Simon, "Pies, you simpleton!"0 -

Ditto, definitely COLD water when it sticks, I like mine done in the pan with butter but if using the microwave put plenty of milk in so it doesn't go dry.0 -

wannago, your mistake is in using boiling water to soak the pan, cold water is best for eggs, milk or flour based things0
