Thanks peeps! Ive got a pan of suck on egg that I have to go clean from brekky this morning, but, if i try it on the micro, maybe i'll never have to do this again! You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

I gave up on scrambled eggs until I discovered the microwave - but I cook mine for so much less than mookybargirl that I had to tell you.
My microwave is 900 power, and I do 15 sec, a stir, then 10 second bursts (maybe two or three) with a stir in between. The stirring is really important, or you get a type of omelette! BUT, if done right, the eggs are really delicious - I like mine soft and light, but not runny or dry.0 -
i put a lump of butter in bottom first. i have a tesco non stick pot and it is the best non stick i have had in forever!! mine never stick.love you lots like jelly tots0

I use a really good non-stick pan
To clean egg and milk off pans easily never pour hot water into them- it sets harder apparently. Pour cold water in and leave to soak.

I agree with a few others that the eggs are better done in the microwave.researcher wrote:I gave up on scrambled eggs until I discovered the microwave - but I cook mine for so much less than mookybargirl that I had to tell you.

Good point, might be better to start in smaller bursts. I'm generally making 6-8 eggs so it's quite a lot of mixture..Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -
I like cooking mine the old fashioned way and it's rare anything sticks... I use a non stick wok (small one) and find that even if anything sticks then I'll just put some water in and pace it in the sink with some washing up liquid and by the time I've eaten my eggs and come back the pan just wipes cleanDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Mine's never stuck. I always melt a little butter into the pan first and let it get hot before pouring the mixture in. Then i make sure to keep stirring until cooked.0

To clean off the pan which already has the eggs stuck - I find the best thing is a pan scourer - not the really harsh ones, but the twisted up metal ones with no soap in them (hope you know what I mean!). Not to be recommended if you do use a non-stick pan though, obv!0
