Spotty - My local yarn shop has a basket of balls of wool for 25p each. Ideal for crochet projects, Maybe do a search and see if one in your area? Otherwise I use DK and Aran mixes. I like to use really nice wool.

Have been making a cactus today from a new amigurmi book I got from amazon. Might send it to my Dad who is in Australia for a long holiday. It's his birthday in Feb and he likes cactuses and took me a to a cactus show once. lol

Your panda's brilliant nuttybabe! There's no stopping you now is there?
Does anyone know if part 2 is out yet? Normally with these partwork mags the first couple of issues are available in newsagents before you having to subscribe.
My elephant is actually looking elwphant-like! I've only got to do the legs and ears then I'm done. I've even managed to follow the pattern:j
