    Greenpixey - that charm is really sweet. i want to make one!

    i went to the library to get some books but they didnt have any. They said i can order them so if anyone has any good suggestions on the crocheting animals books i would be very grateful. thanks.

    I'm sitting here churning out dozens of white hexs for my blanket wishing I could make one of those cute long earred bunnies or a frog. Then I think 'OK I'll go find a pattern' then I make another hex. I'm thinking I've gone a bit brain dead. If nothing else I need to change my wool colour as I've got enough whites for a while! I'll get another ball after I've done one more :rolleyes:

    It no good I am going into town tomorrow and will pop into the library and see what they have. I am hooked (sorry HeHe) need to make something other than squares, its all these nice things everyone is doing that has made wanting to have a go lol :)

    have you had a look on youtube. there are some tutorials for making animals on there. or sue posted a link to a really nice website for animals.

    right, i have finished him. spent most of the night trying to get the feet done and gave up and sewed felt feet on!!! i just couldnt do it. anyway, here he is:

    SueB, I have finished the square:rotfl:My DD has nabed it though and wont give it back:rolleyes:
    Think I am only gonna be able to do squares though, cant follow a pattern for toffee, Tried to do a hat earlier and it came out looking like a skirt for a barbie doll:rotfl:
    I will try again though, I am on a mission now;)

    Does the happy amigurumi dance :dance: I actually made one. He's not cute and he's not small but he's finished. I might add a bow and make him a she though! I'll take a photo tomorrow.

    Awwwww nuttybabe. He was so worth it. That is one sweet penguin!

    Love the penguin :heartsmil, I gave up on my mouse as I could't do the ears :rotfl: and have moved onto a mario mushroom which is almost finished so i'll try to post a pic when it's done.

    Love this thread as it keeps me motivated!
