Well I thought I'd have a go at doing a little mouse... I've just got to find something to stuff him with :D

Not sure that he looks much like a mouse tho :rotfl:

Oh well...I also did half of the square in the magazine using the practice wool, there wasn't enogh to do the whole square so I'm leaving it as it is and will start the square in red 2moro.

Really getting into this and can't wait to buy some more wool so I can give the amigurimi animals a try :j

Nuttybabe. Don't feel bad. I was exactly the same with the sock heels. I just made them up as I went along. As for as I'm concerned they fit my foot and only come off if I walk :D
If it fits your head then what more can you ask for? ;)
Can't wait to see the mouse luce. WIll you pst a photo when you're done?

I've spent all day organising my crafting stuff. I found loads of UFO's (unfinished objects) and I posted photo's of some of them in my blog if you wanna take a look. Last night I had to make a bracelet for dd. It's her friends birthday so she asked me to rustle one up. Of course now she wants one so I'm in the middle of doing that. Should have it sone by tonight. She also gave me an old scarf of hers that she wants me to unravel and make her a hat like mine.

I'm going to have to start compiling a waiting list!

:T Well done nuttybabe. He's only jealous! My dh sort of said the same thing then I walked into the living room and he was wearing it  I can't wait to see it.

Glad you liked the bracelet ladyshellda. I've just finished the one for dd. It's so chunky I was having issues making it! She likes it though. I'll get a piccy of it and put it up tomorrow

    hi all!!

just thought i'd pop in for a nose!!

i taught myself to crochet the other day from a book i bought from the charity shop, can't do all the stitches yet but managing to follow a pattern for a shawl using the half treble stitch all seems ok, so far so good!!

good luck to all those who are learning!

  • I only started crocheting a few months ago.

    I made these two....

I have made more since then but don`t have camera charged up to show you all. I made a bride and groom, some more of the Humptys and am making the froggies as fundraisers for my friends charity Peru trip.
I`m currently working on a few of my own patterns too.
I can`t do normal crocheting tho and would love to make a granny square blanket. I can`t find the Learning to Crochet magazine in any shops where I live.... must be a lot of crocheting going on round here.
