I'm sitting here eating leftover terrys chocolate orange when I should be crocheting. I MUST put the chocolate away!

    That's what I did last night......yummy!!!

Well I didn't get very far with my crochet last night. Was digging out wool when I found a cardie I'd started knitting for my daughter, so I got back onto that.......... I'm thinking I can do both, work, and my anatomy & physiology course. Oh and get to the gym - stuff the housework :rotfl::rotfl::T!!

    SueB - love the scarf.

    hi everyone

my god i didn't think id find it this hard to crochet, maybe im having trouble cos im a leftie. i can do the chain and im now trying the single corchet stitch but im finding it harder than what i thought but im just gona keep on practising and practising til i get it right. I think my main problem is with the tension of the wool as my stictches all seem to be completely different sizes.

This is my problem - I'm a leftie and am finding it so hard.. but am perseviring. I unpicked all my work last night and will start again tonight. I can do s/s and double crochet but the square seems to turn into a triangle... I'm doing a foundation stitch at the end and have no idea what I am doing wrong so am starting again and re-reading the instructions..

I should be finished with my rabbit in a while when the kidlets have gone to bed, it's looking a bit odd at the moment but you'll still get a piccy

If you got an old pillow/cushion use the stuffing there instead. If you are really savvy you can find that it is sometimes cheaper to buy pillows/cushions in a charity shop or in a sale than buying stuffing from a craft shop

I'm about halfway though my hat. I'm doing this one

It's quite easy once you've got the first few rows in place. It makes up quite quickly too. I'm using chunky wool and a 10mm hook. Its actually the hook that takes some getting used to rather than the pattern.
