I just posted the translation for you on previous page, found the book quicker than I thought I would (edited my post) My bunny is roughly 6" in sitting position so the ears could be gigantic on the pattern you got in mind...(just a thought)

I got this pattern and the ears are much, much smaller if you think that would be of any help?

I use a smaller hook then the yarn recommends. If it says 4mm needles on the label I pick 3mm (sometimes even 2.5 if I want to make the amigurumi smaller)
When you crochet amigurumis you got to crochet tight, much tighter then normal crochet (probably why I got such problems now learning to crochet a normal square :rotfl:)
The holes are because you crocheted to loosely and you can see the stuffing through the holes. Don't worry if you like making amigurumis just practice and it will get better, my first item was no beauty.

The pink isn't quite that colour. It's more of a magenta but my camera really doesn't like reds.

Youngest daughter has asked for one. I don't think I can face another right now but I might have to make a hat.
    Or...my teddy unicorn!

Thanks greenpixey. I am doing this one as tight as i can but there does seem to still be holes. think i will have to get a smaller hook. the elephant is brilliant especially for your first one.

Sue that scarf looks really good. I vote for the teddy unicorn next!!!

I made the mistake of getting this one its called Lets get crafting " crochet creative, I think it does different craft things every month because next issue is knitting:)

Nuttybabe - I agree a brown shell and you will have a turtle...:) Hes cute though!

Booties are lovely where did you get the pattern Kazipoo?

Thanks ever so much... I am so chuffed with myself, I have thoroughly enjoyed doing them. Hat and booties only took the day (kids have had 2 snow days now so its keeping me busy lol). Decided to go with the white and instead of the same colour tie in the pattern, I just changed it and added some home made pom poms!!

Here's the link to the booties, hat is also on the same website (menu on left)
